BEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEP!
The most annoying sound in the world ringed through my ears. "Shut up!" I groaned as my hand slammed down onto my alarm clock. I rolled onto my back, finally opening my eyes and stared at my celling. I turned my head to the clock, "6:30am, I should get up." I thought to myself. I slowly sat up on my bed, stretching and letting out a roar of a yawn. I always had to get up this early, I have to catch the morning bus at 8:00am but before that I have to take a quick morning shower and make myself some breakfast before that, so this is the system I made to help with that. "Alright.. Let's get st-.."*BANG*.
I was cut off by the sound something hitting the floor. "What the hell..?" I got up from bed, slowly walking up to the door and opening it carefully. I slowly walked out into the hallway, hearing mumbling coming from what I could only guess was the kitchen. I looked around quickly for a weapon of some kind, I looked in the hallway closet and found my old baseball bat.

I slowly tiptoe through the hallway, careful not to make a sound. As I reached the corner that connected the kitchen and the hall, I ready the bat and walk against the wall. I let out a quiet breath to calm my nerves before I act. "AHHHHHHHHHH!" I shout as I turn the corner, bat in the air and I'm ready to wack someone in the head."AHHHHH!" Another shout came from the kitchen as some pans hit the floor. The scream was feminine...and from a familiar voice. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE!?!" I shout to the white haired girl as she leaned against the kitchen counter holding onto her chest as if she was checking if she still had a heart. "WHAT AM I DOING?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING SWINGING THAT THING AROUND AND SCARING THE HELL OU OF ME?!" She shouted back to me as I looked at her with tired and angry eyes. "This is my apartment! Your the one who broke in here and started making noise!" She opened her mouth as to say something, but nothing came out. She thought for a bit before she started to fiddle with her fingers as a light rosey blush covered her cheeks. "Well...since I only moved in yesterday, I don't have any food yet. So I came over here and thought that you wouldn't mind if I make you something as well..." We looked down to her feet in embarrassment as I just rolled my eyes as I pinched the bridge of my nose. "You could've ringed the door bell and I would've let you in.." I said as I place the baseball bat on the counter.

She looked up from the ground to say something, but as before nothing was said. Instead her cheeks darken in a rose red color. I raised my brow in confusion before I followed where her eyes where looking to. It was at me. Specifically me waring nothing but a pair of basketball shorts. I looked back to her and rolled my eyes. "If you just gonna keep starring at me then go already." I said as I crossed my arms over my chest. She quickly turned around, "f-fine! I-I'll make something for us.." She said as she started the stove. I let out a sigh as I walk back down the hallway to the bathroom, "I swear this better not be an every day thing." I mumble as I walk in to take my morning shower. I let out a small sigh as I close the door before turning on the water and letting it run for a bit. I lean over the bathroom sink and look in the mirror. "You've really got to say no sometime dude." I mumbled to myself.

I walked out of the bedroom dressed and look at the clock on the hallway wall. "7:09, good I have plenty of time. I said out loud before I was distracted by the scent of food. I make my way around the corner where the sent grew stronger and stronger. I looked over to the small table in the corner of the kitchen to see it set up for two people. Plates of mini pancakes and bacon along side a glass of orange juice, just looking at it made my stomach growl. "Don't just stand there and starve, sit down and eat." She said as she did the same. I took my seat and without second thoughts began to devour my plate. The pancakes where light and fluffy and tasted amazing along side the bacon next to them. I quickly finished the plate and down the glass of orange juice before I look over to my right to see her staring at me with a almost horrified face. "How..?" Was all that was muttered from her mouth. "I haven't really had a good breakfast in a while since I moved here." I said with a small chuckle before I grabbed my plate and glass and setting them in the sink.   "By the way, is there something I can call you? Since you don't know your name?" I asked as I turned around to look at her. She started to think to herself before letting out a small sigh. "I don't know, you got any ideas?" She asked. I start to look over her slowly before a idea came to mind. "Your hair, it's as white as winter. So how about Winter?" I asked. She began to play with the end of her hair before smiling slightly. "Yeah, Winter. That sound great." A smile grew on her face as her cheeks lit up with a small pink hue.

A small silence had consumed the room for a few seconds before I looked at the clock on the wall and nodded slightly to myself. "Well I better get going, the bus arrives at 7:25 and its 7:16." I say aloud. She looked at the clock and sighed slightly. "Right, I should go too. Sorry for breaking in and all that." She said with an awkward chuckle. I smile slightly and shook my head. "You don't need to apologize, besides you made up for it with that breakfast. Speaking of which you can stay and finish yours, just lock the door when your leaving." I said as I made my way to the door and took my coat from the hanger and grabbed my bag from the floor near it. I look back to her and smile. She smiles back before I walk out and close the door behind me. The cold air hitting me with a rush causing me to shiver slightly. I see the door from down the walkway open and out comes out one of my neighbors. "Morning, Anabelle." The girl with the short brown hair looked over to me and smiled in sleepy manner. Her skin was a caramel brown and her eyes a hazel shade. She wore a black heavy coat with a matching pair of gloves and a white winter cap. "Morning Johnny, how are you?" She asked as we began to walk away from the apartments and into the sidewalk. "I'm good, nothing to crazy." I said with a smile as a small cold breeze hit the left side of my face. "That's good to hear. Hey, did you hear that screaming I heard earlier? It kinda startled me a bit." I held back a small chuckle as I shook my head. "It was my new neighbor, I kinda scared her with a baseball bat when she broke into my place." I said with a straight face. She gave me s face of confusion but then shook her head. "I'm not even gonna ask anything right now." She said with a small sigh to which I chuckle in response. We come up on a street heading to different ways. We said our goodbyes before we walked our separate ways. The wind hit my face directly now and I shivered. As I make my way down the quiet street.
