Diana POV

"Mrs. Seewald?"

I turned around to see my head student Annabeth Chase with her hand up.

"Yes Ms. Chase?" I said.

"The answer to number five is Osiris not Nut ," she said. I looked at number five on the paper.

"So sorry about that Ms. Chase. I will fix that as soon as possible," I said. She smiled. I went and sat back down at my desk and thought about Annabeth.

She was very strange in my opinion. She had curly blonde hair, that makes you think she is dumb (a/n I am a blonde so it doesn't offend me but if it offends you, I'm sorry), but when you look into her stormy gray eyes, you see intelligence. She was stunning in my opinion and was always getting hit on by guys (and some girls too), but she turned them all down. She was kind to everyone, except if someone kept hitting on her. She would judo-flip them, punch them, kick them, or something else like that. She never wore make-up which made all the "popular girls" hate her because of her natural beauty. She just "roasted" them, like the kids say these days. She was always reading and had all A's on her report card. I've watched some PE classes in my free time for my own entertainment, and saw Annabeth. She was running the mile, not really breaking a sweat and would dominate anyone in dodgeball, volleyball, basketball, kickball, soccer, and any other sport they were playing. I just didn't understand, how was she so athletic and so smart? With getting good grades it would seem like she didn't have time to work out.

I also didn't understand why she turned everyone down. Even the sweet, moderate-looking, smart guys she turned down.

I am a teacher at Artisian High School. I teach History in room 201. I have been teaching here for 10 years and I love it. I'm married to Jon Seewald the love of my life and we have 3 children: Lilly, who is 11, Charlie, who is 8, and Trace, who is 5. I love my life and I wouldn't want it any other way.

After my first period class was over with Annabeth, the principal, Ms. Monroe, called me to her office. I don't think I've done anything bad. I'm a pretty good person if I do say so myself.  I go to church every Sunday, I feed my kids vegetables, I go to the gym on Saturday, and I donate to charity. I never cuss either. Anyways, I walked over to her office and knocked on the door. She answered and walked back to her desk.

"Hello. Sorry, I could've called you, but I just felt like seeing you!" She said with a smile so big I'm surprised her lips didn't break. Ms. Monroe was a nice person I guess, but she was just always so loud and positive about everything.

"We will be having a new student tomorrow. He will be in your History class first thing tomorrow. His name is Percy Jackson and please assign someone to show him around." She said. I was so happy for another student! I hope he behaves unlike the other boys in my class.

"Okay. Thank you," I said and walked out.

I walked into my classroom before the students came to set up for class. I wrote the date on the board and graded some papers. This quarter we were learning about ancient mythology. Since we were shifting from Egyptian Mythology to Greek Mythology, I was going to let them split into groups to discuss what they know about Greek Mythology.

10 minutes later the class was filing in one by one. I saw a tall, tan, black haired guy walk into the room. I tapped him on the shoulder and he turned around. I saw that he had sea green eyes like the ocean.
