rachel
rachel is stood in the loft apartment she shares with kurt and blaine she is surrounded by her friends so e from school like mercedes and tina some from nyada some from simply living in new york.
its christmas eve and kurt and blaines annual eve party is in full swing there is tonnes of booze loads of food and the music is blaring everyone is having a great time everyone that is except rachel.
rachel is the ony on at the party who isnt in a relationship and standing there while everyone is snogging their loved on or dancing to a romantic song with their soulmate rachel is simply stood in the corner feeling lonely.
what makes things worse is her friends knowing she is single are trying to include her but by doing that are simply making her feel more like an outsider.
as kurt and blaine take to the microphone and sing a love song to each other rachsl feels her eyes filling up so while the crowd of people in ths loft are watching klaine rachel quietly but quixkly grabs her coat and leaves the loft.
once outside she takes a deep breath and just starts to walk.
sebastian
sebastian is stood by the bar in an exclusive wine bar he is with somefriends he made at nyu when he was there as he was kicked out of nyu.
sebastian had been told sine he could remember that he was gonna be a state attorney just like his dad but it wasnt until he escaped the confining grib of his father and attended nyu to study law sebastian realised he hated law he wanted to be a doctor he hd become fascinated with medicine after his dorm roommate was studying it.
sebastian wanted to switch his major but his father wouldnt here of it so sebastian rebelled and stopped attending classes and was kicked off his course so he was in new york no college and his father had cut him off though his mom was still sending him money as was his maternal grandfther who had never liked his father.
sebastian stoid at the bar watching his friends getting drunk and having a great time like college kids do only he wasnt a college kid and he wasnt in the mood to party he did feel like celebrating it didnt feel like christmas to him at all
"seb come on" jake his roommate yelled to him sebastian shook his head causing jake to walk over to him
"oh come on seb relax"jake said
"think im gonna head bck i dont want to spoil it for you guys but im just not feeling it this year sorry" sebastian said
while he had been booted out jake had let him remain as his roommate aafter all what the college doesnt know cant hurt them.
as sebastian left the bar he had planned to go to the dorm apartment but instead he tuck a deep breath and just started walking.
rachel
as she walks rachel is so lost in thought that she is surprised to find herself at central park its busy as thsir is a parry in the park but there is part of the park that is quiet thankfully due to the Christmas lights the park os well lite.
rachel decides a walk round the park is just what she needs
sebastian
sebastian walks down several streets u til he finds himself at central park it looks really pretty with all the lights he also sees a vender selling coffee so he decides to get one and sip it whilst walking round the park.
rachel
half an hour later rachel starts to feel tearful she thinks of her life she wonders if she will ever feel in love again or have someone love her again as she walks the tears start to come.
then rachel sees someone in the distance walking she feels embarrassed to be crying so she puts her head down and speeds her up her pace the problem is she cant quite see where she is going and she walks smack into the person and then finds herself covered in coffee hought not much thankfully.
" oh my god im so sorry" rachel said without looking at the person
" oh my god rachel berry" he said she looks up
" sebastian " rachel said
" the one and only" he said
" im sorry about your drink" rachel said
" im more sorry that your covered in it that is a lovely coat" he said
"what are the chances out of all the people in new york i walk into you and knock your drink over" rachel said
" im more surprised by the fact that your out here on your own i thought kurt always threw a big party on christmas eve"he said
"he does but i dont know i wasnt in the mood tonight" rachel said
" funny niether was i my frieds and i went to this wine bar he had to pull strings to get us in there it has a waiting list but i just couldnt be bothered with it all" he said
" it just doesn feel like christmas to me" rachel said
" look i need another cocfee you wanna get one"he asked
"okay " rachel ssid and they set off back towards the vender he had got his first from as it turned out to be quite good coffee.

hi guys i couldnt resist a festive story for smytheberry this will likely be a two to three part story. as its christmas eve im really busy but i will publish and complete this story throughout the day. i will get bak to my other stories after christmas.
