Friday December 23rd, 20xx,
Decorations? Check.
Mistletoe? Check.
Glowing light things on windows? Check.
Tree? Che- Oh shit.
Chara stared ahead at the dotted lines in front of her that formed a tree. She squinted, then rubbed her eyes. Where the fuck is the tree?
"Az!" She calls out, turning around and running to Asriel's room. She was livid. Asriel told her he would get the tree - him and Flowey! But where is it? Oh; she was ready to maul a monster goat. She stands before the shut door of the boss monster in complete aggravation, raising her hand and grabbing onto the doorknob. She turns it.
It's locked.
That fucker.
It's Friday. Christmas is in two days. Toriel put Chara in charge for this beloved holiday that was introduced to her by the poor soul. As much to Chara's dismay did she not wish to be a part or set everything up, Frisk also was looking forward to what she would do. If Frisk wasn't entirely happy about the occasion, Hell, Chara would drop the project. Chara has a job to do;
And this goat isn't going to stop her.
Chara backed away from the door, placing her hands into the pockets of her gym shorts. She raised her right leg, aimed it at the door, and kicked; the door broke off of its hinges and flew into the room.
And to her luck, onto the sleeping boss monster.
"GAH-" Asriel shouts, kicking the door off of his form. "What the hell Chara!"
"Don't 'What the hell Chara' me!" She retorts, pointing her index finger at the now sitting up goat boy. "Where the fuck is the tree?!"
Asriel was quiet. He looked to the empty flowerpot, scrunching his nose and turning back to Chara. He could see she was awaiting an answer.
"Frisk and Toriel are out, and by the time they got here they expect everything on this list to be here! And THEN some!" Chara pulls out a half finished checklist from her pocket, turning it around and facing it towards him. "I'm not going to get chewed out by my girlfriend and your mom because of your incompetence!" She shouts, making the goat jump in fear. "So get up," she starts, walking over to Asriel, although he picked himself up from the bed and stood, "go to the fucking door," Chara swears, grabbing the boss monster by his shirt and dragging him to the door, "AND GET THE TREE!" And with that, Chara shoved him out of the door.
The poor goat tripped out of the door, waving his arms to try and catch himself and bring balance back to his body. He failed horribly and fell flat onto his face.
Chara sighs, looking the list over. "So now he's going to grab the tree.. I might as well get some more lights and wall decors while he's gone."
. . .
"Everything will be fine, mom!" Frisk says, patting her legs in the front seat of the car. She watched as Toriel entered the car and pulled on her seatbelt. "If I know Chara, she has this in the BAG!" Frisk giggles to herself as Toriel looks to Frisk.
"I've known Chara longer than you have and I know she likes to slack off just like your brother." Toriel responds with a light sigh, putting the key into the ignition and turning it slightly to turn on the car. "I'm afraid she'll.. well by the time we get there, be fast asleep on the couch or on her phone watching gameplays."
Toriel had a point.
Frisk sighs, looking to the digital clock. It read 11:34 PM. Toriel looked to Frisk as she placed her paw onto the stick and pushing it to D to start driving. "Should we return home now or stay out awhile longer?"
