Chapter 9

-Katies POV-

I woke up to Austin laying next to me with his mouth open and his shirt of drooling a little bit. He still looked so perfect. I sat there for a moment trying to figure out if last night really happened or if it was all just a dream.

"Good morning" he said rubbing his fingers through his hair and rubbing his eyes. I guess it all wasn't a dream.

"morning butthead" I said standing up and walking out of the room to get something to eat.

"where do you think you're going?" he said jumping out of the bed and pushing me against the wall.

"I'm gonna go get some food if that's okay with you dad." I said sarcastically.

"not even gonna invite your boyfriend to come with you?" he said locking his fingers with mine.

"wanna come get breakfast with me?" I asked moving his hands away from mine. I was gonna need some getting used to this whole 'boyfriend' 'girlfriend' thing with Austin.

"I'll be down in a bit" he said walking over to his closet.

After breakfast we all got ready and Sarah and I decided to have a beach day since Austin had some show or an interview or something and Alex was his other half so he had to go with him.

~Austin~

"How does this look?" I said asking Katie as she stood infront of me wearing an orange sundress putting on some sunscreen.

"You look great" she said laughing at me.

"What's so funny?" I asked her.

"Nothing you just care so much about the way you look. all your fans probably would think you still looked good in a trashbag" she replied smirking at me standing up and putting her flip flops on.

"What are you doing today anyways?" she asked.

"I have an interview with Z100 Miami then a private show and a small meet and greet. I should be home by 4, hangout after?" I said sliding my shoes on.

"alright see you then" she said walking about the door.

"wait you forgot something" I told her before she walked out. I pulled her in for a big hug and kissed her forehead. she smelled so good. I could hold her for hours.

"have fun babe." I told her as she blushed trying to avoid eye contact.

"thanks I'll see you later" she said shyly kissing my cheek and walking out the door.

Austin gives me so many mixed emotions. I can't tell if he really likes me or is just using me for what every guy uses me for. All this boyfriend girlfriend stuff kinda makes me depressed because my last relationship ended so badly. I'm still not over Josh, I was really in love with him. How am I suppose to move on from a guy who I thought I was gonna be with for a very long time in a month? Impossible.

"Why are you so quiet Katie?" Sarah asked me as we crossed to the beach.

"I don't know just thinking I guess." I said picking up the sunscreen I dropped.

"Thinking about what Austin?" she said winking at me.

"Ha ha very funny" I laughed rolling my blanket onto the sand.

"Alex already told me you guys were together you don't have to lie! I think its cute." she said spraying herself with tanning oil.

"Yeah we're something like that" I said putting my headphones in.
