"We're married." Rory whispered after she rolled over to face Logan in bed.
"We're married." Logan confirmed.
Rory was still in full makeup and hair because they were so exhausted the night before. Regardless of how exhausted they were, they were just overjoyed to be married and able to wake up together as husband and wife.
Logan took Rory's hand and placed a gentle kiss upon it.
"When do you plan on going back home?" Logan asked.
"I only packed for a couple of days, so maybe Sunday."
"When are you coming back?" Logan asked hesitantly
"Why don't you come back with me? We can stay at my grandmothers house, I'm sure she would enjoy the company anyhow."
"Emily really wouldn't mind housing us? Have you even told her about the baby?"
"I will get around to it, maybe you could come with me to Friday dinner? We can talk about it then, the both of us." Rory proposed.
"That would require you either leaving today or in a week, the choice is yours, Ace."
"I'm sure I could manage to make my clothes last a week." Rory pointed out.
"On a totally different note have you thought about any names?" Logan remembered.
"Logan," Rory chuckled, "I don't even know the sex, let alone have I thought about names. My main concern was telling you, I've completed that task and now here we are."
Rorys phone rang.
"Mom?" Rory asked, "Mom, slow down, what's going on, I can't make out what you're saying. Why are you crying?"
"Rory, hun, you need to come home." Lorelai managed to get out, "It's your grandmother.."
Silence floods the line.
"Mom, OMG, mom, I'm on my way! Okay?"
"Ace, what was that all about? is everything okay? Logan asked.
"Logan um, I dont, um, we have to go. I have to go, you don't have to. I mean you can. It's my grandmother, something happened and my mom was crying too much to make sense of her words. So, I just need to go home. I am so sorry." Rory broke.
"I'm coming with you, pack your suitcase. I'll make the proper arrangements, okay?"
"Thank you, Logan, thank you."
