Dreaming of MAGCON

Chapter 4

Brooklyn's POV

I came up above the water and was staring into the most blue eyes I'd ever seen. They were the most beautiful eyes in the world and I couldn't help but stare. I went a while without being able to speak. He smiled at me and turned around, joining the commotion, and snapping me out of my trance.

"Thanks. We really appreciated that. It was super fun." Alex said, angrily.

I looked around to see who was there. Nash Grier, Taylor Caniff, Cameron Dallas, JC Caylen, Aaron Carpenter, Jack Johnson, and Jack Gilinsky were all in the pool and Shawn Mendes and Carter Reynolds were standing by our now empty chairs.

"Sorry about all that." Shawn said, reaching a hand down to help Alex climb out of the pool.

I looked over to my right and saw Annalise already engrossed in a conversation with Jack Johnson... why was I not surprised?

Serena and I joined Alex by our chairs, and Annalise followed after, still involved in her conversation. We all towel dried quickly and sat at the edge of the pool, putting our feet in.

"I think there should be a rule against that." Serena said.

"Yeah! You should at least know our names before dumping us into a pool!" I agreed.

"Well, what are your names?" Matt asked.

"I'm Brooklyn!" I said quickly.

"My name's Serena." Serena said while blushing.

"Hey, I'm Alex." Alex replied.

We all looked over at Annalise, still talking to Jack. "Oh hey!" She said, finally responding. "I'm Annalise!"

"So you guys are here for MAGCON, right?" Carter asked.

"Yeah." I replied.

"So you've got to have favorites!" Aaron added.

"I guess." Serena answered.

"Well who are they?" JC asked.

"My favorite is kinda Cameron." Serena said.

"I like Nash." I replied.

"Annalise likes Jack... If you couldn't tell already." Alex said.

Annalise and Jack were now part of everyone else's conversation.

"But who's yours?" Cameron asked.

"I don't really have one I guess.." Alex stated.

Alex's POV

It was true. I'd never really had a "favorite". I did like a few of the guys more than the others. Shawn, Taylor, and Matt were all super cute. Taylor and Matt were completely weird and I loved it, but Shawn's voice made my heart melt.

"What? BS!" Taylor shouted.

I shrugged. "Sorry. I honestly don't have a favorite."

"C'mon! Just pick one!" Cameron replied.

"Umm. Shawn." I said.

I looked up at Shawn, who was still standing, and he smiled then sat down next to me. I looked over at Serena, who winked at me, causing me to blush.

Serena's POV

After we swam for a while and hung out with the guys, it was dinner time. We had been invited to join them for dinner. After checking with our moms, we went back upstairs to take showers and get dressed.

We were going to dinner with the MAGCON guys!

At 6:00, we went downstairs to meet them in the lobby. We piled into a couple of rental vans and headed to the restaurant. When we split up into different vans, I was separated from Cameron and Alex was separated from Shawn. Nash turned to Alex.
