Chapter One
Sandra logs onto her Facebook account to creep on her secret crush. She knows that no one should find out, because she is so sure they would make fun of her. I mean he’s really tall and kind of dorky.
When her news feed finally loads she sees that Darren and Morgan are now in a relationship. Sandra wants to cry. She feels that she actually had a chance with Darren and now it’s gone because of Morgan.
Sandra and Morgan were friends not exactly close but enough to be able to call each other and hang out.
Morgan is one of the prettiest girls at their school. Morgan has beach blonde hair with gray eyes. Morgan is very athletic so she is very slim. All the guys make comments on how pretty or how hot Morgan is. Morgan is also one of those girls who are saints and don’t party.
Sandra had known that Darren liked Morgan for a while but didn’t think he would actually ask her out. Sandra and Darren were close friends. People had often asked them if they liked each other.
Sandra signed off Facebook and went to lie on her bed because she was going to cry herself to sleep tonight. She just knew this wasn’t going to end well between Darren and Sandra.
“Sandra!” her mom had yelled from the kitchen, “It’s time to eat.”
“Okay I’ll be down,” Sandra yelled back. Sandra got up from her bed and went to look at herself in the mirror. She checked herself to make sure she didn’t look upset or angry, even though inside she felt like dying.
Sandra dragged her feet down the stairs to set the table for dinner. As Sandra reached the sweet smelling kitchen she opened the silverware drawer to put forks and spoons on the table.
Her mother looked at Sandra setting the table so quietly and asked, “Is everything okay?”
“Krap, she noticed,” Sandra said to herself.
Sandra laughed. “Yes Mom, I am okay, just tired.”
Sandra noticed her mom made her favorite, stuffed chicken shells. Sandra brightened up. She sat at her regular seat at the chestnut dinner table. Everyone sat down to eat dinner. Her family started to fill their plates.
“Mmm, I love stuffed shells for dinner,” Sandra’s sister said. Sandra’s sister was name Alexandra and everyone called her Alex. She had dark brown hair and brown eyes and wore blue glasses. Alex looked a lot like their father.
Dinner was quieter than usual tonight; Sandra figured it was because everyone was eating so quickly. After her family was done eating everyone cleaned up their dirty dishes and put them in the sink.
Sandra walked back up the steps to text her best friend. Sandra belly flopped onto her bed while grabbing her phone.
Sandra: hey.
Karlie: heyy
