The girl in front of me looked gorgeous. When she raised her head, I was stunned to see a large scar going across her face. Regardless, her skin was fucking flawless. Her doll like complexion, pink eye shadow, and red lipstick all looked like they'd been airbrushed on. Surely a girl so gorgeous and innocent couldn't be coming to this house. She had to have been lost, or maybe ended up here by some freak accident.

She was a light creature. Because of that, I instantly stepped far back from her. Even breathing near her could give her Hallow Hex.

"I'm sorry. I don't mean to come off as rude, but I have Hallow Hex. I wouldn't want to give it to you." I told her.

The fairy gestured towards an amulet handing from her belt, "It's alright. My husband gave me something to shield me from dark world diseases. I'm the one who should be apologizing, for showing up on your doorstep unannounced, but it's urgent. May I speak with Ricky and Ghost? Are they home?"

I stepped out of the way of the door, "Please, come inside and sit down. It's way too cold for you out there."

She bowed her head respectfully, "Thank you."

When she said the word "husband" I was rather shocked. She looked so young. Most fairies are very small as well, but she was the definition of petite. I could probably fit my hands around her waist. I'm guessing by her attire, she was a woodland fairy. They normally live in places that don't get below fifty degrees. This subzero cold had to have been hurting her.

"Ghost and Ricky are both... Not well." I told her, "I just told Ricky to go rest. He should be alright to talk to in a little while, if you don't mind waiting."

"Not at all, if you don't mind having me in your home that long." She respectfully said.

I knelt down in front of the fireplace and lit a match. The poor thing was covering in goosebumps. How her wings didn't break like ice out in that weather, I have no clue. "Not at all." I replied, "My name is Angelo, by the way."

          "Mine's-"

"Kitty." Felix abruptly cut her off as he walked in the room again.

The fairy forced a soft smile, "Katherine, but most people call me Kitty."

"You two know each other?" I asked.

He took a hard gulp, "Yeah, you could say that... What're you, uh... What're you doing here?"

"I need to talk to your parents, about Cecil." She replied.

"That's why you're here? I wish you would've told me that before. I'll go get them right now." I spoke as I headed towards the back hallway.

In her defense, she did say it was urgent. It wasn't until I saw the look on Felix's face that I realized there was a lot of importance to her that I wasn't aware of. They'd never mentioned knowing a fairy or even being associated with one. That kind of seems like something that would come up? Especially when it freaked Felix out like it did.

I knocked on Ghost and Ricky's bedroom door. As I waited, I noticed Felix had left his bedroom door cracked a few inches. I saw someone walking around in there and couldn't help my natural curiosity. Glancing in, I saw Maxine rushing to pull on her clothes. I stepped away from the door when she began to turn for it.

"Oh, Ange..." She muttered when she realized she was totally busted.

Laughing under my breath, I turned back towards the master bedroom, "I didn't see a thing."
