Hero sat on the dusty bed with Allison. She had stopped crying, and was sniffling on his shoulder.
"Why..." She murmured.
"Want me to tell you what happened?" He replied softly.
"Yes, please.""Well, it began with..."
An explosion rang though the halls, alarming everyone. Flashes whipped through the dust that was disturbed, and three figures appeared. The flashes went through every nearby pigman, killing it.
The three figures, who turned out to be human, stepped over the dead bodies, and through the hallways. The flashes, already had killed all of the pigman in their path, came back, then into one of the three's cloaks. They walked with ease, and any pigman seen alive, the wisps of light killed it.
A little girl, who had dragon parts, and a man, who had jeans and a blue T-shirt, were playing in the nursery. The man had a toy in his hand, which the dragon girl was trying to grab. The man instantly stood up, sensing something. The girl looked up at him, her round eyes turning to an amber orange.
"Stay here," he said, and she sat down on the bed, holding the toy. He walked out of the room, leaving her.
He found where his concern was; he saw the three figures at the end of the hallway, surrounded by wisps.
"Give her to us," one of them said, "and we'll go easy on you."
"Never," the man growled. "You won't get to her without a fight."
"Well you won't get one." A man in a purple cloak stepped forward. He held his hand out, and the wisps went out towards the other man. They did not hurt him, but created a barrier around him, and closed in. He was now stuck in a indestructible bubble."Let me go," he growled. The other three shook their heads. "Like I said, you're not gonna get one." The purple cloaked man said.
They walked around him as he tried to bang his way out. He knew it was no use. He sat down, sighing. Wait, he thought. I can warn her. I can think to her. He strained his head, trying to communicate.
Allison, he managed to fit through. Yeah? Was a reply. Good. You can hear me. He thought back. What's wrong, dad?
Listen. There are three bad people here. They've trapped me, and you need to get out of here. He thought sternly. But, I can help you! She replied. No. You need to go to the overworld, where you'll be safe.
Safe? You mean, all alone? Without you? He winced as the thought came through. He could picture her whimpering face, eyes wide. Yes. Without me. Now, you need to go! They're right outside the door. You can teleport. Remember the portal I showed you? Get there, and go through it.
But... Dad... I don't think I can. I'm scared. I don't kno- AHHH! She abruptly cut herself off as he heard a scream. He saw her run out of the room, her tail flapping behind her.
She saw him, immediately running to him. Dad!
You can't get me out. I can't even break it, He said. We can try together! Just, let me! She bared her teeth as she tried to break through. He tried as well, but not even a dent or crack was left.
She turned around, seeing the three figures in front of her. She bared her teeth again, and one of them grunted.
"You really think she'd, out of anything, would hurt us? She looks like she wouldn-" one of the three, a bald man, was cut off as the dragon girl sent a fireball, bigger than her, at the three. The three weren't prepared, and they were blasted away with it.
She turned around, and tried using some magic to break the bubble. It won't work, I've tried. He thought sadly to her. We can try our magic together! Just try! She thought back. Her enthusiasm boosted him, and he went along with it.
She tried some void magic, which she was very strong in, while he tried fire. By the time they had a small hole in the barrier, the three had made their way back, recovered. They looked pretty mad, and Allison turned around to give them an innocent smile.
One grabbed her arm, and she hissed, casting another fireball. He dodged it, only to get a kick in the face. Stumbling back, he let go, and she stood there, glaring. Smoke/steam was coming out of her nose, and she transformed into a dragon. The trapped man gasped, as his daughter lunged at them. They all toppled down under her weight, still in shock. She snarled, then looked back at her father. His eyes were wide, and said one word: Run. She nodded, getting off them. They sat up, while she walked towards her father.
She tried to wrap her forearms around the cage, but her size was too small. She whined, huffing. "Just go," the man's voice, clouded by the barrier, said to the dragon. She whimpered, and tried to scrape through with her talons. The three men got up, ready to attack her. "Go!" He said again, and this time she ran.
The others started after her, until one stopped, turning around to face the trapped man. "Hero, we'll deal with you later." One said. "We'll be back. Now, cmon." He beckoned to to the others.
At least she's safe. She'll find the portal, I'm sure.
