The screaming and tears
The shake of a little girls hand as she holds the razor.
The promise of quitting running through her mind
The look of betrayal on her beloveds face.
The chaos of thoughts.
The child's strength dissipates.
The blade gets closer
And relief.
The blood rushes out and relief cascades over her shoulders...
