I walked over to the door, now closed. You had to put in a pin to enter. Great.
It looked like it was a 4 character pin, so I typed in a random set of numbers.
5847
It didn't even go. Eh. I tried.
I slapped it with my wing.
Nope.
Just pain. Just as expected, honestly.
I typed in 1234.
Still no.
6579.
No.
6215.
Nope.
0923.
Nada.
I pounded it with my fist as hard as I could out of frustration.
And what do you know? It worked.
"Oh, COME ON!"
The girl shushed me.
"Sorry, jeez."
"Dude we don't know what the heck is out here, we need to be on guard!"
We walked down a hallway, filled with tubes, like ours, full of experiments...
What is going on here?
I took a closer look at a boy in the tube. He looked like he was dead, but just barely alive. The next one was just dead. He looked like he just died maybe around 8 months ago...?
The girl I was with gasped, and pulled us to the side, crouching down behind a tube. Men were rushing down, and sirens wailed seconds later. Footsteps pounded towards a room, and then screams of terror released in only moments.
Then it all died down so suddenly... Just a wave of silence, the sirens shut off mid wail.
I slowly got up, and motioned for the others to follow me, although considering what just happened, it wouldn't be the best idea, but what do we have to lose now?
We got to the room, blood oozed out of the room. In all other situations I would scream, but this was weirdly different.
A small, girl sat down crying. She must've been one of the other experiments. She has blood on her hands, and all on her clothes. She could tell we were there, and a bit hesitantly, she spoke. "G-go... please! I've done enough!"
I walked towards her. "No! Don't!" The girl next to me said. "Let's go."
Man I seriously need to start learning names.
I wanted to go over to her, but if she wants us to go, and escape, and live, then what are we waiting for.
[Willow's POV]
It's been a while since McKay went missing... Maybe a year and a half at this point. But around now we just have to assume the worst.
I heard a knock at the door.
"Who is it?"
"Issac, remember?"
Issac and I have had arguments in the past year, and... I couldn't bear to have Sadie, my three year old, have to listen to that, so we split up. Not an official divorce, I just made him move out of the house. He'll come around maybe three days of the week. But sometimes I think he wants one... Hopefully that's just guilt from the arguments.
"Are you wanting to take Sadie out today?" I asked.
"Yeah, sure."
"Okay, be careful."
"I know, I know."
"Okay, bye." I handed him Sadie and watched as he took off with her into the sky. Man he needs to be careful.
My phone vibrated. It was a text from Alex.
A: JOSH AND CONNIE ARE MISSING
W: What?!
A: They, just disappeared! I was talking with Josh for ONE SECOND, and he just disappeared! I LOOKED ALL AROUND THE HOUSE!That was the same thing that happened with McKay and Rin's kid...
W: Calm down, it's fine, we're going to find them. No matter what it takes.
(Tidal has been added to the chat)
T: Hey I was just finishing up grocery shopping
A: OUR CHILDREN ARE MISSINNGGGG
T: WHAT?!
W: WE DISCUSSED THIS ALREADY! Ugh, just come over to my house, we can set up a plan.[McKay's POV]
We continued down the path we were originally going down, when we came across some type of main office. The girl I was with let out a small, yet revealing gasp.
"Guys, you might want to look at this..."
