THE DARKNESS

Vivian's pov

I wake up to the unfamiliar surrounding, clearing my eyes to make sure I was awake, I almost jumped out of my skin when I saw Margaret close to me in her undies, I looked at myself and blushed going through every possible scenario I could possibly have thought of. My attention is caught by a painting on the wall, I stare for a while before I stand up to walk round, my face heats up as I find Daniel in the living room, I slap myself mentally as I pull out of my trance. I notice him shifting uncomfortably, closing the distance between us, I  place my hand on his head. I freeze in place as I'm immediately pulled into darkness.

My mind reels as I struggle to keep myself from being taken over and the feeling starts to fade eventually. I slowly open my eyes to see I'm on a beach, there's a light in the distance so I make my way towards it, I feel heat indicating it must be fire, I tense as I get closer starting to move cautiously. I see six men in uniform I recognize them to be shield soldiers, the seventh is dressed casually with two bodies at his feet, I see Daniel standing in front of a body, his eyes glowing bright, the wind picks up from a calm flow to a violent whirlwind around him, then dies in a few seconds. I try to run to him but I'm being stopped by something, in a flash he appears in front of a soldier holding two katanas hitting him hard in the chest with his palm, killing him instantly, I flinch hearing the sound of ribs breaking, it was like he appeared in front of the guy, he was fast, really fast. Daniel picks up the swords and faces the rest of the men, their supposed leader smiles and gives the order,'' kill him '' . The soldiers advance immediately with the intention to kill. Daniel remains unshaken as soldier stops a few feet away breathing fire from his mouth, it fails to touch the Daniel who is behind an invincible wall, The others approach from opposite sides, the fifth from above with electricity being emitted from his body, all this happening within a few seconds. These guys were organized and well trained , unlike the idiots who came for me. I was mesmerised by this sight, I had never seen so many powers in one place. Daniel doesn't move an inch while I'm shouting my lungs out at him considering he's about to become shredded barbeque. At the last moment before they make contact, the sand on the beach surrounds the men at ground level breaking every bone in their bodies, while shooting out like a spear impaling the man from above, they were all dead, with one left.

Daniel drops the lifeless bodies to the floor, he hadn't even moved a muscle meaning he was telekinetic. Focusing totally on their leader who is smiling like an idiot at the new challenge, He finally speaks, "I was beginning to think they would stare each other to death." '' Xander! My name is Xander. I would like you to know the name of the man who will kill you. '' Daniel just smiles in anticipation, almost impatiently. I wonder what he needs swords for when he just killed five people effortlessly without touching them. An object emerges from the sand in front of Xander, a spear. Bright red with markings that seemed ancient, this piqued Daniel's interest considering the creepy smirk on his face.  The fight began. Spears of sharp sand shoots from the ground around Xander towards him who takes off at reasonable speed towards Daniel. Their weapons clash in a dangerous attempt to kill each other. Xander gets an open chance and strikes with full force, the sand shifts under him making him lose balance and stumble forward while Daniel drives a sword through him, cuts an arm then kicks him backwards almost immediately . Xander sits up with a pained expression of confusion masking his face, it was a trap, he coughed up blood as he tried to move backward, Daniel had deliberately left himself open. Daniel looked at Xander with a look of disgust before speaking, ''is this all you have to offer?  Get out of my sight before I have your head. '' Xander takes one last glance at Daniel before taking off immediately without hesitation.

I see Margaret running towards the scene, I'm about to speak when I'm forcefully pulled back to reality from Daniel's dream to the opposite side of the living room, I was suspended in the air as my body touched the wall, I tried to quickly shake away the confusion looking to the direction I just came from. Daniel faces me with rage in his bright eyes, even the lenses couldn't hold back the glow. '' I will only ask you once, who sent you and what is your goal? '' my confusion starts to grow wings cause I have no idea what he is talking about . '' I don't know what you mean''I tell him, I realize my mistake when I start losing my breath, I struggle to speak in a cracking voice,

'' I  ......can help.... You, I know.... Who they are. '' I'm roughly dropped to the floor and try to catch my breath before looking up to my tormentor .

'' start talking. ''
