'' Don't feel bad sweetheart, it's not your fault, he just gets grumpy sometimes. The thing is he never talks about that night, he's family was..... '' she pauses trying to hold back the tears, failing miserably, I hold her hand to comfort her almost crying too before she continues.
'' That was the first time I saw him cry, he use to be so full of life and happiness but now he's... ...he's different, she sighs hard ending the topic. We have a quiet dinner and head to bed, I lay on the soft material trying not to think about him, really nice viv, you just couldn't shut up. I groan as my mind crucifies me. The paintings on the wall seem to steal my attention as i slowly drift off to sleep seconds later.

It's been four months since I, Margret and Daniel have stayed together, after a long time of protesting I finally gave up when he told me I'd either leave town or stay at his place. Funny enough I chose his place almost immediately, Daniel started to warm up to me after two months and the weeks of trying, at a point he blew up the TV and had to get a new one since Margret wouldn't let him rest. Today we're home, peaceful, Saturday evening, Daniel comes out of the gym shirtless and In grey sweat pants, I have to force myself not to stare at his half naked body as my face heats up. We all go out with Daniel to a beautiful meadow for him to paint, for as long as I've lived with them we go everywhere together, we might as well even sleep together if Daniel was more stern than he already was. He started to pack up when he was done, Margret had pestered him to take us to the mall for shopping, I had a good laugh noting how much he hated it. We grabbed a couple snacks on the way, just two minutes to our destination when Margret went hysterical.
'' They're here, we need to go Daniel, they're close, they've found us''
Daniel looked at her confused but didn't hesitate, he instantly changed our route without asking questions and headed towards the bridge back home, what were they talking about, I wasn't sure I could get more confused than this.
'' Vivian we'll within a range of water, be ready to fight at anytime ''
'' Um........OK ''
That's when it dawn on me, SHIELD! They found us, probably because of me,but how did Margaret know? I was getting worse than Margret, I couldn't stop my hands from shaking with the thought that I had ruined the peacefully perfect lives they had, when a black SUV drove in from behind us, I didn't know the car could go any faster but we did, the police were hot on our tail and the SUV was beside us trying to hit us of the ground, we got to the bridge, the SUV pulled back and my insides started to churn, something was wrong.
'' Damn it hold on tight ''
I didn't understand until the car lifted from the ground after being hit to the side by a blur, we crashed side ways, Daniel protecting us with his mind. The car finally came to a stop on the left side of the bridge, I could feel heavy commotion around us, I couldn't think straight even for a second.
'' Are you guys OK? Margaret, Vivian? ''
'' Yea, I'm fine. ''
'' Me too. ''
'' Good. We are still on the bridge, so Vivian get ready, don't hesitate to kill them when necessary. Margaret stay close OK? We'll get through this. I'll go out first. ''
The doors of the car unhinged themselves, courtesy of Daniel who boldly climbed out then signaled us, we were beside him in seconds. We had been blocked off on both sides by the police, their guns drawn and pointed towards the SUV, the occupants stepped out, I'd be able to Distinguish that uniform even when I'm dead, but how did Margaret know? And so accurately, there was something wrong, I just couldn't understand it yet.
Margaret looked around then suddenly slumped to the ground, Daniel by her side instantly, a few cops were on their way to us with a first aid box, if we played our cards right we could get out of this unharmed, Shield causing a scene had been to our advantage. I wasn't so sure shield would engage us now. I imagined Daniel would drop me for Margaret any time, any day, she was of more value. I was pulled from my thoughts at the sight of a cop with shades, beneath the shades were dark eyes, totally dark. I screamed to Daniel as soon as I saw it, I was too late, he morphed right in front of us into a huge porcupine catching the cops off guard. The sound of guns firing and screams of pain as the needles on him shot at us, I closed my eyes bracing for the pain that didn't come, the needles stood a few centimeters from us, held up In the air. Daniel! The porcupine cop was violently pushed back away from us and morphed into an eagle half way to the other side, then took flight. The shield agents were already attacking, two katanas floated out the back of our crashed car to Daniel who grabbed them with a smile on his face rushing towards our attackers. I recognized the swords as the same one he had used to fight Xander.
'' Vivian protect Margaret. ''
We had an advantage, this was my terrain, water on both sides of us, I envied Daniel as he fought without fear, using his mind and skill to ward of the wretched men. I looked around to see who was left, then started to shoot ice towards anyone trying to get to Daniel's blind spot. The eagle had returned for us, turning to a tiger as he landed and leaping towards us immediately, he crashed into the wall of ice I had just put up, I stabbed him as so soon as he was down and watched Him whimper in pain ,slowly returning to his human form as he died.
An agent moved past us at incredible speed towards Daniel knocking him off balance to the ground. This guy was a lot faster than Daniel was, hitting him from different sides not giving him any time to find his bearings, a second late and Daniel had already placed a wall in front of himself. The agent bumped in face first into it falling back afterwards. He was lifted off the ground, we all watched his two legs twist round as he screamed in pain but non of that seemed to phase Daniel. The agent roughly dropped to the ground as a deafening screech was heard and Daniel lost control of his telekinesis, the police officers had dwindled in number and the screaming only killed more, I looked to find who was responsible as agents advanced on Daniel beating the crap out of him, Margaret went crazy as Daniel was stabbed somewhere, then she was no longer next to me.
