Chapter 6: Christmas

     It was Christmas Eve, all the shops at downtown Tokyo were lit up with gorgeous LED lights and there were a lot of couples walking about enjoying their time together. A certain H/c girl was waiting at the center of the city where a beautiful Christmas tree was located.

"Honestly, he is late." Y/n huffed as she rubbed her gloved hands together trying to warm herself up. "Let's go on a date he says, it will be fun he says." She huffed; clearly annoyed that her boyfriend is 10 minutes late.

"Y/n-chan, I'm sorry. I was late; preparations was longer than I thought." Chikage was catching his breath as if he had ran a mile.

"What preparation? Chikage, are you hiding something from me?" Y/n eyed him carefully.

"You'll see love. You'll see." Chikage took Y/n's hand and laced with his and started guiding her.

 After walking out and about Tokyo, they ended up on a ferries wheel. Y/n was dumb struck; yet happy like a child who had just received candy.

"Honestly, you don't have to get me up on a ferries wheel on Christmas Eve. We could just cuddle at home watching sappy RomComs." Y/n let out a smile.

"But, darling. I want to spoil you." Chikage replied as he leaned forward to Y/n.

"And, I got you a gift."  He spoke out as he tried to find a box in his coat pocket.

Chikage pulled out a box and gave it to Y/n, she took it with gratitude and opened it. The gift was a necklace with a heart pendant.

"I love it chikage, thank you." She stared at the necklace with awe.

Being a gentleman, he helped her put on the necklace and gave her a kiss as the fireworks go off behind them.

   Now; Chirstmas would not be the same for Chikage anymore as Y/n is no longer celebrating the joyous day with him and Arisa is away with her family at New York celebrating Christmas.

"Young master, you have a package." The Kazama household butler, Yoshitaka spoke out.

"Thank you, you could just leave it on the table." Chikage spoke out. He was looking at old photos when he was celebrating Christmas with Y/n.

He opened the package, it was the exact necklace that he gave Y/n for Christmas last time. There was a note.

'Last Christmas, I gave you my heart. But, you gave yours to someone else. The owner of this necklace is no longer me.

Something insde Chikage snapped, he is dead serious and determined to win Y/n back from Okita Souji.
