Hakuouki SSL: Kazama Chikage x Reader X Okita Souji【Sequel to the 1st Story】

<Arc 2> Chapter 7

A/N: Hello lovelies, I know... It had been FAR TOO LONG since I last updated. Apologizes, degree life is not easy for me as I'm almost there to my final year. So, for now... I'll give you the over dued chapter~ Enjoy

     Y/n had been with Chikage for almost an entire week to get herself ready for her Chemistry test for the final exams. Unknown to the H/C girl; rumors of her relationship with Chikage were spreading slowly. 

"Have you heard? Y/n-chan and Kazama-san are back together again?" A boy whispered to his friend. "No way. I thought she is dating Okita-san?" Murmurs were everywhere; Heisuke being the good friend confronted Souji for clarification. 

"Souji! Did you and Y/n-chan broke up?" Heisuke asked while trying to catch his breath after sprinting all the way to their classroom. 

"Then, why are rumors about Y/n-chan and that Kazama speculating?" He asked. 

Hearing that, Souji had a frown. "N/n-chan wouldn't do anything behind my back. She's probably with him is because that bastard forced himself in to her life." "Please go bother someone else. I need to continue with my mock sheets." He told Heisuke with a nonchalant tone, ignoring him in the process. 

     During lunch hours, Y/n was at the student council room with her Chemistry mock excercises surronding her. Chikage was also trying his best to tutor her. 

"You're improving. That's a good sign." Chikage hummed as he cross-checked her answers. 

"It's not good enough, I don't want to attend Winter Break classes." She whined. 

Seeing her all stressed up, Chikage lets out a small laugh. "You're so cute like that."

"Stop laughing at me and help me!" She sheirked and threw a book towards him; which he dodged effortlessly. 

"Alright fine. If you can score a 60 on your mock excercise before the bell ring, we'll go somewhere this weekend." Chikage told her. 

Y/n let out a huff as she remembered her payment for the tutorial is a date. Before the bell rang to indicate the end of lunch break, she managed to finish and score a 70 points for her mock excercise. 

"Good job. I'll pick you up from your house at 9 am. Don't oversleep, I know you always would." He told her. 

"I do not!" She countered back. 

Before she leaves the student council room, Chikage gave her a hug which she returned with the similar gesture. However, someone saw them embracing one another and was not liking the interaction one bit. (A/N: I wonder who could this be? Any guesses?)

 Y/n woke up super early to get herself ready for the date that Chikage asked for as their tutor payment. She was trying on multiple dresses to see which one is the nicest on her, however she is running out of time. 

"GAHHH!!! Why am I so work up on what to wear. It's not like I'm his girlfriend or something!" She huffed at her reflection. 

She ended up wearing a cute lace dress with matching thights and sling bag; the clock on her wall reads '8:50' with a sense of panic, she did her hair and make up. 

 As soon as its 9 o'clock, Chikage's family car was already at her doorstep. She went down to greet him. 

"I see you're wearing what you wore for our first date. How nostalgic and coincidentially I wore what I wore during our first date." He teased. 

"Shut up. Where are we going?" She asked as she go in the car. 

"It's a secret." He replied. 

 The car ride was short as Y/n noticed that they were at Shibuya; their first date location. All the memories came back to her. 

"Let's go. We're here." Chikage turned to her, she was in shock. 

As they got off the car, Chikage led her to their first date cafe. The staff from the cafe still remember them and served their meals that they ordered before. 

"Did you pay them to do this?" Y/n asked with a tinge of skepticism.

"I did not. They still remember us and our orders. You can trust me on that." He told her as he held her hand. 

After lunch, they went to the planetarium; Y/n was still facinated by the stars and cosmos of the beyond. Seeing her happy made Chikage happy, they bought things at the gift shop. 

"You know, you ready don't have to pay for my items." She told him awkwardly. 

"I want to." He replied. 

Their next stop would be the Meiji Jingu as Y/n want to draw an Omikuji to see her luck. As she went to get her Omikuji; she was struck with great shock. Y/n had gotten the worst luck; Dai Kyo.

"Dai kyo, you will need to make your choice as it will affect your life onwards." She read her fortune. She sighed and went up to meet with Chikage, "What's your omikuji?" He asked. "Oh, I got Kichi. It's nothing to worry about." She gave a smile. 

    Before the day ends, Chikage took her to have dinner on a bulidng to view Shibuya's night view. 

"That's for everything. Chikage, I really like that." She thanked him. "You're most welcome." He replied with a smile. 

"I broke off my engagement with Arisa." He spoke out. "Why are you telling me this? Its not my concern on your engagement." She replied. 

The dinner was stiff and awkward between the both of them; after their dinner Chikage sent her home. Before she could go back inside her home; Chikage pulled her in to a kiss. 

"What the fuck are you doing?!" someone yelled. 

Both of them turn their heads toward the source; it was a very angry Souji. "Souji! It's not what it looks like." Y/n tried to explain herself. 

"N/n-chan. Go back inside; I'll talk to you later. I have some business to deal with Kazama-senpai." Souji spoke out with pure venom in his tone. 

Not wanting to argue with Souji, she went inside; as soon as she was out of sight. Souji held Chikage up by his shirt collar with a look that he only show to people that really pissed him off. 

"Next time, do not simply kiss other people's girlfriend senpai. Their boyfriend would get the wrong idea." "For the sake that you tutored N/n-chan in Chemistry, I will not punch you even though I really want to." 

"She's not yours to begin with Okita. It's me who should make her happy not you." Chikage replied with confidence. 

"We'll see about it. This year Christmas, if she chose you over me; I'll back down. Vice versa." Souji proposed. 

"It's a deal." Chikage agreed.

Souji went inside Y/n's home to see her back in her casual clothes and he gave her a hug. She returned the hug in an instant. 

"I miss you so much, I need my recharge." He mumbled in to her shoulder. 

"I miss you too." She replied. 

"Let's watch something on TV." He told her with a smile. 

"Sure." She replied with a smile. 

 As they were watching TV, Y/n broke the silence; "Did you hurt him before you come in?" 

"Who knows?" was all his reply. 

 Souji and Chikage had the same mindset, to win Y/n's heart during Christmas.

Afternote: I hope you guys enjoyed this, I'm sorry it took so long to write it. I hope you guys didn't cringe at the cheesy date scene as I watched too much Hana Yori Dango last few weeks and the cheese from that series stuck to me. I really hope you guys like it. See you next time~ ❤️
