I can't believe this. Oh wait, yes I can.

I paced back and forth on the crunching leaves in the forest. It was dark out and everyone was basically asleep. I wanted to sit and relax but there is no way I'm dirtying my jeans or dealing with bugs.

I looked at Keith as he leaned against a tree, keeping a eye out. I was calm but at the same time raging.

"You don't think this will change the course of things right?" Keith asked me.

I huffed and shook my head. "No. You just have to keep bringing me the pills. As long as I take them it'll be fine."

He pushed off the tree and crossed his arms. "And the episodes after?"

I flipped my hair over my shoulders and smirked at him. "Not strong enough to handle them?"

Keith flashed his eyes red before rolling them. "I can for now. But you are stronger then me Alex, I can't forever."

I looked up at the moon and saw it was almost full. I'll have to find a way to stay away from Trace. He'll be looking for me to spend the night with him and I can't let that happen.

Keith gripped my arm getting my attention back. "You need to find a way to handle this or you'll wipe out everyone Alex."

I shrugged him off. "I know alright. It's those damn witches fault."

Keith ignored me looking off into the distance. He didn't say a word as he jumped up into the trees. I frowned and turned the way he was looking. I was relived to see it was Roderick.

He frowned seeing me out here. "Trace is looking for you, is something wrong?"

I shook my head started walking away from him. I could hear him sniff the air but ignored it. I'm sure he could smell Keith. He didn't question it and let me walk off.

Once I was inside I made my way to the bedroom. I need to make sure Trace doesn't get worked up tonight. I want him so badly it hurts but we can't. I must keep him at bay until I can tell him why. I'll need to tell him tonight. If not then the full moon will hit and it'll be no stopping him.

I shook off the head-ache that was forming. Once I reached the room I opened the door ready to let it all out. Instead a gasp left my mouth seeing candles lit everywhere in the dark room with rose petals all around. I needed to run, now.

"Alex." Trace walked out the bathroom in only his towel smiling brightly.

"Shit." Flixx said before going blank and leaving me to deal with this.

I let a smile take over my face as I watched him walk closer. He took my hand pulling me in more and closed the door behind me. I gulped seeing my exit gone.

"I was waiting for you. Do you like it?"

His eyes glittered in happiness. I couldn't find it in myself to bring it down. I found myself nodding. "It's beautiful Trace."

Trace smiled even brighter. "How about you shower and I'll rub you down when your done."

I could feel my legs turn to jelly at the invite. "A rub down? Like your hands on my.... naked body?"

Traced laughed at me before nodding. "Yes love."

I swallowed hard again. "Trace I have to tell you something."

He gave me his full attention. His golden eyes lit up because of the candles. His smile never fell as he gazed at me. His body still glistened form the shower and I felt my mouth close up on me. I couldn't ruin this for him. All his efforts, wasted.
