Sometimes, you need to let yourself go,
to open the door to the derelict side of yours.
Let yourself go to an open lawn
under the light of the evening star, with
your favorite artists singing in the background.
Let go of fear about future and regret of past,
and see how it feels to live in the moment.
Let go of yourself to show your side
which remained in shadow for long enough.
Let yourself go to discover new people,
even though you know them for ages.
Let yourself go to dissipate your worries
and grudges to the untrammeled breeze.
Sometimes, it's necessary to come out
of the self-created fortress to see the real world,
for this world is not a bed of roses but definitely,
a treasure hunt where gems,
inside and outside of you, are
waiting to get revealed.
