Christmas Special Part 2

Author's POV:

Tomoe was rushing towards the jewelry shop. His intention: a ring to make a proposal. As he was inside he looked for the perfect ring. He passed the safes where quality jewelry was inside. There were bracelets, necklaces, also rings, wristwatches, earrings and much more. After some searching for the perfect ring the kitsune looked at the time. Now it was already 4 PM. Only two more hours 'til Christmas Eve. If he wouldn't make it until then, Nanami would probably break up with him.
Tomoe didn't even want to think about it; breaking up with his lovely girlfriend. Her hair, her body, the way she moves, her eyes, mouth, her whole face-her complete body is something he can't stand to not see anymore. These are some reasons why he would hate to break up with her...

Now back to the jewelries. After some looking and searching he found a ring. But something was missing. Tomoe went to look for an employee and wanted to ask him:

"You, umm, would you do me a favor of do you make some extra things on your products? Maybe like carving in a heart?"

"Well yes of course, but the price will change either it's something bigger or smaller." The employee answered.

So Tomoe arranged to change the ring. He chose a special motive. A fox with a heart on it.
About one hour passed and he paid for it. He was happy that he made it on time. Now he just had to make a plan how he would propose to Nanami and even in the Santa kostume.....

A little later.... 6 o'clock:

Tomoe put on the kostume. It still looked pathetic on him, so he thought. He forgot to buy a Santa beard. He thought it will also work without.... He just needed to wait for Nanami.... He didn't see her for a while now, but then she went into the living room and put her presents under the Christmas tree. Her attitude was a little down, kind of sad. Maybe because Tomoe wasn't with her... So she thought. Nanami turned on some Christmas music, it also didn't help.

The kitsune thought now would be the right moment. He stepped behind her and whispered "Merry Christmas, Nanami." Nanami turned surprised, her expression astound. She thought Tomoe's voice was there just now, but then as she turned she someone dressed like Santa Claus. When she looked at the person more carefully she saw his silver-white, silky hair standing out under the hat. Then she also saw the way to big kostume.

"Heey, Tomoe it's you... Haha, you're funny!" Her sadness was suddenly like blown away. Tomoe just looked at her. But then he remembered what he actually wanted to do.

After a little moment he suddenly got on his knees. He searched in his pockets for the jewel case, took it out and opened it before her.

"Nanami Momozono... I have thought for a while now.... We have lived, no we've known each other for a long time now... And I never said so passionately I love you. Now I want to show you that with this ring in this case. I want to ask you.... Will you marry m-me, Tomoe?" Tomoe asked, quite shy. What's not normal for him. Nanami was really surprised. Her mouth hung open, her eyes wide. But some tears sparkled in them. Then they streamed her face down. Suddenly she hugged Tomoe. Both of them fall backwards, Nanami on top of him.

"Yes, Tomoe!! I want to. I love you!" She answered still tears rolling down her cheeks. Tomoe's eyes widened, he was happy and kissed her. Nanami kissed him back still hugging him so lovingly. Tomoe of course hugged her back too and answered:

"I love you too, Nanami."

The whole evening they spent together hugging and kissing each other. Still celebrating Christmas, and both were sure it was their best Christmas they had...

The next morning...

"Hey Honey, how did you sleep? Did you sleep well?" Tomoe asked quietly his wife to be. She just woke up and cuddled herself back into his chest getting back to sleep. Tomoe just stroked her hair and went back to sleep as well.
