O bete ki!(Holy Shit!) Part-1

Anika's POV

'Ek tum hi ho,bas tum hi ho,zindagii.....'my phone ranged,loudly but I was too lazy to leave my really comfortable position and pick it up.I stretched my hand in order to pick it up but unfortunately,in an attempt to do that I fell down from the bed.I,then realized that I was on the freaking corner and should had been more careful.I finally,got up and picked it up.

"Hello?"I questioningly asked."Hey!Anika,it's Soumya!You know I've got a really amazing news to tell you!And I seriously,can't wait any more!"Soumya,my best friend,squealed with joy, who was a R.J by profession cause of her amazing voice!And she was also helping me to get a decent job,since the last three months."Oh!is that so?then please tell me quickly,as I'm really dying to hear!"I said excited.Well,I was just expecting some promotion of her show or something like that,but not at all what she said next,as I had given all hope for that!"Hey!First of all,a very big Congratulations to you,you know from whom did I receive a call from just now?"she squealed excitedly.I was really puzzled at her congratulating me as I didn't found anything for which she would congratulate me,so not able to keep it anymore I,finally asked her the reason behind it!

"Girl,do u even know who called me this evening?Mrs.Oberoi called me!"she almost yelled."What!Are you kidding me?Do you even know what are you saying?"I asked,curiously."Yeah,I know that it's really unbelievable but it's the truth only"she assured me."But how is this even possible?I mean,for what did she called you?"I asked,impatiently.
"Anika,you remember you told me to seek job for you through the radio.So I was just doing that only,when suddenly and unexpectedly I got a call from Mrs.Oberoi!She asked me to arrange for that interior designer,about whom I'd been talking about,as soon as possible which was none other than you.They had called you at the 'Oberoi Mansion', this evening.Congrats!girl,you'd got a job!"she all said it in one go.And then panted for breath.

"First,you calm down!And seriously?they are ready to hire me!I really can't believe!"I squealed in joy,almost yelling and somewhat dancing."Yes,yes it's the truth only!"she excitedly said."But,hey!how can they hire me without taking any sort of interview or seeing any of my designs?"I asked a little puzzled,as I finally processed all the information she just told me."Oh!Don't you worry about that!First,she asked me if I had any of your designs and fortunately I had,so I told her that only and sent her the designs via message on her consent.You know, the very ones you sent me to send them to the clients,if in case you got hired.So,then after a couple of minutes she again called me and happily hired you!You know,she seemed like a really nice lady,I mean she talked so casually,without showing her attitude or anything!She wasn't proud of her status in the society"she finished,ecstatic.

I don't know why but at the mention of attitude and status,a certain someone's voice echoed in my voice,which was none other than 'Mr.Shivaya Singh Oberoi's".I wondered how can two people having so different opinions can belong to one family."So,now not wasting any more time,get ready and go to the mansion as soon as possible.I mean,who wants to be late on the first day of their job,isn't it?"she asked,thus taking me back to the present."Uh..Yes,sure!"I simply nodded."Ok!Good!All the best!And once again a very big congrats to you.Bye!sorry I need to go,talk to you later.And take care!"she,hastily finished."Yeah,Ok!Thanks a lot and you too take care!Bye!"I hung up.

Wait,what does she said 'Oberoi Mansion'!No way!I'm not going there at any cost!I mean what if,I went there and he recognizes me?No.way,it can't happen to me!Ok,I admit that he hadn't seen me,but what if he recognizes me by my voice?Oh,then that would be the worst thing that could happen to me!! Anika,you really need to calm down!Stop overreacting!,I instructed myself.

So,ignoring all my thoughts I hurriedly went into the washroom to get ready.After,a couple of minutes I hastily turned on my scooter and went off in full speed,for as much as I knew I was certainly going to be late!Just imagine, anybody getting late on their very first day of work!It's not only unprofessional but also shows them as a clumsy and unpunctual person.All the credits goes to my stupid thoughts for all this!And to make the situation even more worse,I got stuck in the traffic!After,half an hour or so when the traffic moved on,I was really relieved at that.
