viktor actually cannot even stand vodka. he gets so annoyed when people say things about russians drinking vodka like water.

it's mostly because the first time he drank, he drank vodka. this was also an awful night where he embarrassed himself like no other and threw up all night and all day the next day.

so now the taste or smell make him nauseous

(he loves champagne though)
