Rain gave a yawn as he stretch, ready for damn sleep. Malcolm came over and say beside him and chuckles.
" Sleepy huh? "
" I shouldn't be the only one ya know " He smiled over to him. Rain didn't notice Malcolm having a hand behind his back of the item he was given behind his back.
" So should we head to bed now? " Malcolm smiles back. They seemed a bit closer, but they didn't realize it much.
" Nah its fine, you seem wide awake actually " Rain stretched and sat up better, clearing his throat.
" Also I'm really sorry about ruining.... well being... Uhm.. acting the way I was before.... Hopefully you're not... mmh... Mad or something.. "
" Of course not, I could never be mad at you Rain " Malcolm chuckles " It's fine if you get the wrong idea, that only wants ne to prove how loyal to our friendship "
Rain smiled a bit " Well I'm glad you're not mad " He coughs a bit " Really glad " He mumbled a bit.
Malcolm giggles a bit while Rain scratched the back of his neck.
" So what should we do on Christmas Day? "
" I guess stay home, watch Christmas movies and have hot cocoa? "
" Sounds good to me " Rain smiled at Malcolm's suggestion, then remembers the gift Rain got for him. " Oh almost forgot! "
" Hm? "
" I got you a gift too and I might as well give it to you now since you gave me mine "
" O-Oh! Rain you shouldn't have! "
" It's only fair " Rain smiled before getting up and walking to his room.
Malcolm waits and looks at the item in his hand, thinks ' Should I? I dunno, dang it Kyla who you do this to mmeeee!!? '
He puts it away behind his back quickly, hearing Rain coming back from his room.
It dropped out his hand in between the chair's cushion after he gasped so he pushed it more between the cushions carefully but rapidly since he had no time to pick it up.
Anyways Rain say back down beside Malcolm who was wearily smiling " You ok? "
" Huh yes! Of course I'm fine! J-Just excited to see what you got me that's all! "
" Oh ok " Rain smiled, hands him the gift. " Merry Christmas Malcolm "
Malcolm took the present and opened it with care. He gasped to see what's inside.
It was red headphones that was shiny and new. Some ok present, it was really something special to Malcolm.
" Rain they're awesome! " Malcolm smiled big " I'll use them well! "
" That's good to hear " Rain chuckled. " So should we- " His own yawn cuts him off " Should we head to bed? "
" You're really tired huh? " Malcolm chuckles " But yeah we should "
They get up and heads to their rooms before heading to bed. Malcolm forgot all about the item under the couch.

Next morning, it was a surprise to find Rain awake pretty early. Even though of how tired he was yesterday, he got up anyways and got ready for the day.
He made himself some pancakes and left some extra for Malcolm who was still sleeping.
He plopped himself on the couch and sits his breakfast on the table in front of him before turning am the TV. He sat back against the couch and sighs, but then.
" Ow what the hell! " Rain got up " When did the chair turn into a prick? " He dug in between the cushions and found what poked him.
It was the certain item Malcolm forgot which made Rain blush lightly. Realizing why he was wearing a weary smile.
" He was going to-- "
" Rain are you awake? " Malcolm shouted from his room.
" Shit! " Rain quietly said before shouting back " Yeah I am, I made breakfast too! "
" Ok I'll be right out! "
As soon as Rain heard that, he stuck the item in his pocket.
After a few moments, Malcolm came out, wearing a Santa hat.
" Merry Christmas Rain! "
" Merry Christmas " Rain chuckled as he was handed a Santa hat by Malcolm before putting it on.
" Well let's get this day started " He smiled.
Rain nodded in agreement, thinks. ' Haaa I can't wait '

It turned dark quickly. Rain and Malcolm sitting on the couch were having cocoa and watching The Nightmare before Christmas.
Just now Malcolm just started to remember the item.
' I can't look now Rain is right next to me ' He thought to himself before looking over to Rain. " Hey Rain mind getting me marshmallows from the cabinet? "
" Sure " Rain got up and walked to the kitchen.
Malcolm looked through between the cushions and eyes widened. It wasn't there now. ' But it was here just yesterday night! ' He fixed the cushions back as Rain came back.
Rain handed him the marshmallows and took a few for himself.

alcolm sighed and sits against the chair's back.
" Tired already? " Rain sips his cocoa.
" No no I'm fine really " He puts marshmallows in his cocoa.
" Alright and also... "
" Hm? " Malcolm blushed after looking at him and what was dangling between them in the middle.
A mistletoe.
A freaking mistletoe.
Rain smirked a bit, blushing a bit as well. Malcolm had no reason to ask or question where he got it as he only turned redder.
" Well it is Christmas after all~ " Rain chuckled a bit.
" Yeah that's true " Malcolm giggled a bit, but was stopped by Rain going in for the kiss.
Malcolm's eyes widened, but he sort of let it happened and he kissed back.
Rain puts down the mistletoe and cupped Malcolm's cheeks with both hands.
Malcolm went with it, having their eyes closed and kissing each other softly.
They pull away from each other and both were completely red.
" Told ya they would do it! " Kyla whispered to Stephen while they watched the two from outside.
" Yeah yeah " Stephen chuckles " Come on you proved your point of your ship " He walked off.
" Not just ship! They're my otp! Kyla dashed after him " My reason for life! " She giggles. " And don't you forget it! "
" Alright alright chill! " Stephen laughed " Before they know we were here "
" I swear they're should be a fanfic on those two though! " She smiled as they left.
