Hmmm.... Eric Lance Samonte... Pretty name for a handsome guy.... What did I just say?! Handsome?! No no you read it all wrong! I did not just say that to a guy I just met a few moments ago. I just came back to my senses when Tita Liz spoke.

Guys, this is my handsome son and is more sweeter than her sister. Right son? Tita Liz said.

Yes, mom. Hi Tito Jan, Tita Nikki, Tito Andre and Tita Ynah. Eric said with a warm smile.

Hi dear. You're so handsome. My mom said, I know right mom. What the hell did i just say?! Who are you evil spirit?! What did you do to me?!

Thank you tita. You're also beautiful. He said again with that warm smile that can make any girl fall. Including me. No! No! What is happening?!

Oh thank you, dear. Children, please introduce yourselves. My mom said gesturing us.

Hi Eric! I'm John Niko Perez. You can call me Niko. Kuya said while shaking hands with Eric.

Nice to meet you, Niko. He replied.

Hi! I'm Andrea Ysabel Reyes! You can call me Andrea by the way. Rea said with a cheerful voice after her greeting they shook hands.

Nice to meet you, Andrea. He greeted warmly. Oh my gosh! It's my turn. What am I going to say?! Okay just act calm. Breathe in. Breathe out. You can do this!

Hi Eric! Jaymie Nicole Perez, Niko's younger sister. It's a pleasure to meet you. I said with all my courage. After that we shook hands. The moment we touched, I could feel my heart beating fast and sparks.

No, Jaymie. It's my pleasure to meet a beautiful girl like you. Eric said and smiled sweetly. I think I blushed.

Umm... T--thanks... I stuttered. He chuckled a little which made me blush even more. Rea even elbowed me.

Aww... You two are so sweet... Tita Liz cooed.

Yeah... I agree Liz.. I remember the times when you two played together, I think you can't even remember 'cause you're so young back then. My mom said. Really we used to play?! Wait, why am I so happy?! Erase.. Erase.. But gosh why is he so cute especially when he smiles! Did I really just say that?

Anyways, the food is getting cold. Let's have dinner? Dad asked in a serious tone. Why is dad's tone like that? Is he angry?

Yeah, come on. Kuya said.

We all went to the dining area and sat like this

So, Liz and Ez how's the States? Tita Ynah asked.

Well, it's good. We had a lot of fun settling down but me and Ez just miss the Philippines. Right hon?

Well yeah. But we decided to settle down here again.

But why, tito? I mean you have a great life living in the states, why would you want to go back here? Kuya asked.

Well Niko, States might be good but it doesn't feel like home. And also Eli and Eric has been living the States since they were born, they don't know the culture of Filipinos although they can speak Tagalog because we taught them. That's why we decided to build our business here and settle down once again.

So, Eli what did you feel when your parents discussed this to you? Mom asked Ate Eli.

Umm... I don't know,  dissapointed and devastated I guess. Well, considering I have to leave all my friends and my school.

Umm.... Okay... How about you Eric?

Umm... Very happy and excited since I
really love traveling and experiencing different cultures, but Dad said I could only travel when it's vacation in school and when I graduate highschool. But I also at the same time sad because of leaving my friends and my old school but I think they can understand. He's really cute. Stop it Jaymie! What are you saying?!

I see... but there is a way we can help you. I know the struggles of a transferee in highshool. Mom said.

Umm... what will you do tita? Eric asked.

How about, Niko you help Eli around your campus since Eli will attend the same school as you. Same as to you Andrea and Jaymie, you will help Eric around campus.

Thanks for the help tita. Eric said and smiled warmly.

No problem dear. Andrea and Jaymie will also benefit anyways.

Umm.... Mommy how? I asked. How will we benefit? Except for the fact that you will see Eric everyday and gets to sit with a handsome boy. Woah... woah... What?!  What is happening to my brain?!

Well your "barkada" will be complete again. David will have a replacement.

Nikki! What did I say about hearing that name again?! Dad shouted which make us shocked.

Dad, please calm down. I'm sure mom didn't mean it. Kuya said calmly.

I'm sorry hon. I overeacted. Daddy apologized.

It's okay hon. Anyways, let's finish dinner so the kids can rest well for tomorrow.

Since I finish dinner fast, I greeted them good night. I was used to it but there's one voice that made me really blush.

Eric said, Good night beautiful. Sweet dreams.
