Thank you Ms. Perez. You may take a seat beside Mr. Santos. Ma'am said. I smiled warmly at the teacher and went to my seat. So what? Should I be distracted because I am seated beside my EX-bestfriend? Please... He doesn't deserve my emotions so no. -_-
During the whole discussion, we didn't talk or even took a glance at each other. Why? Do you think he deserves my attention? After he said he didn't need me? Well, I'm going to prove to him that I also don't need him in my life.

*Lunch Break*
Wow Jaymie! You have really moved on! You didn't have any trace of annoyance when Ma'am asked you to take a seat beside David! Wow! Rea said while we're in line.

Rea, do you think it's really hard to move on? Well I just thought about what he did all the time, that's why it's easy. I said.

So, how about your feelings? Rea asked.

What feelings? I asked her.

Oh come on! Your feelings for David! Is it long gone? She said.

Well, I didn't like him in the first place. I think it's just infatuation, so it's easy to erase. Anyways, he doesn't deserve it. I said.

Well you do have a point. Come on let's search for a table. She said. I followed her carrying my lunch tray. Once we found one, we took a seat.

I'm almost done, when Rea called my attention.

Jaymie! The devil is here! Rea said but in a whisper so no one can hear. I looked up and there I saw the devil, Kim Rodriguez coming towards us. She had a huge smirk in her face, I also fake smiled at her.

Well well well... Isn't it my favorite person?! She said aloud so everyone's attention is on us.

Kim, it's nice to see you. I said with a fake smile.

You too Jaymie. I heard you've come back from San Francisco. Have you moved on? Kim said.

What are you talking about? I said pretending that I don't know what she's talking about.

Oh come! Don't be stupid! Didn't you go to San Fo so you can move on with your heartbreak?! Or did you go there because you're embarassed because someone finally rejected you?! She said with a playful voice. I calmed myself and acted that I didn't get affected about what she said.

Listen Kim, I didn't go there because I was embarassed. I went there because I realized that I need to avoid two assholes. Want to know who they are? I said with a smirk because I saw David coming towards us.

Kim, let's go! David said while pulling Kim's arm. My smirk got wider.

Don't touch me! Why are you holding me back?! Okay Jaymie, who?! Kim said while shooting me daggers at me.

Once upon a time, there were two assholes named David Santos and Kim Rodriguez. I said with a smirk. Kim's face is like this -> •_• I heard Rea's laugh behind me.

You little bitch! Kim shouted and was about to slap me but I held her wrist first. I dropped her hand and slapped her.

Do you think you can step on me?! I am not the same Jaymie you once called bestfriend David but I am still your enemy Kim. I'm not the same Jaymie who can take insults! I'm not the same Jaymie who is not strong enough! I'm not the same innocent Jaymie! So don't you ever think you know my personality and step on me like that! That innocent Jaymie is gone! Facing you know is the strong Jaymie! I shouted and left the cafeteria. There is one more reason why we went to San Fo, to change my weak attitude, to be stronger than anyone can imagine. Me and Rea went to the classroom.

Jaymie, did you really mean all those things that you said? Rea asked once we are already seated.

Rea, I know I'm a bad person for saying all those things, but people change, even me. So yeah, I mean all those things. When we were in San Fo, I had a group of friends in my village, I told them my problems and they said that I should learn how to be brave and strong because not all the time there is someone who can save you. That's why I acted like that earlier. I explained.

I understand Jay. Always remember that I will always be by your side and I will support you. Rea said. I hugged her so tight.

Thank you Rea. For always being there and always supporting me. Thank you for being my bestfriend. I said.

Aww.... Don't worry I will never leave your side. She assured me.

*Ringgggg*

Come on let's finish this day and get home early. I said.

Oh yeah. By the way, I'm going home with you, we are going to have dinner with your family tonight. She said.

Oh... Okay... They didn't tell me about this. I said.

Well, I didn't either they just texted me earlier, that's why I knew. She said.

Okay. I think Ma'am is here. I said. We just finished our classes and went straight home.
