Brook’s POV:
“Are you done with the bathroom yet, Flynn dared me to drink a whole tub of lemonade, I really have to pee,” Logan squeaks outside the bathroom door while repeatedly pounding on it.
“Mh-mmmh-hmh,” I give an incoherent response as I continue to brush my teeth, making sure Flynn did not infest me with some sort of idiotic disease. I swish some more mouthwash in my mouth before spitting and finally emerging from the bathroom thirty minutes after Flynn bequeathed my lips with a kiss.
“Why didn’t you just go use my bathroom upstairs?” I raise an eyebrow at my wiggling friend.
“Flynn said I was to never, ever step foot into your room again,” Logan explains quickly before rushing inside to take care of his business. I shake my head at the not so nice words my mind comes up with about Flynn. I look down at my wriggling hands while stepping back into the living room. Curse Flynn. I look up briefly and hurry to Ryan’s side who lying down on the love seat.
“What’s wrong?” he sits up as I plop my bottom down onto the leather couch.
“Why would you think something’s wrong?” I laugh nervously, how am I supposed to keep Flynn’s little affair from people. I feel like it’s written on my forehead, like anyone who stares into my eyes will read it on my soul.
“Please, you came to sit by my side instead of going straight to Flynn, who is now glaring at me, and you’re not even looking up at him, staring from afar like you usually do,” Ryan lists off.
“Uhm, excuse me, I do not stare at Flynn from afar,” I scowl at my friend. My eyes try to roam to said guy without being noticeable.
“Look at that, your eyes just moved in his direction,” Ryan points out.
“That’s not true, I was looking for Logan,” I lie straight through my teeth. In my defense I was just trying to see what kind of idiotic things Flynn was up to, like studying a monkey with a banana.
“Yes, and I can totally beat Flynn up, maybe that’s not the best way to contradict you but you get the picture,” Ryan adjusts the glasses on his face, his long sleeve riding up a little bit.
“What’s that on your arm?” I ask while squinting my eyes.
“Nothing, oh, look who’s coming over here,” he pulls his sleeve down causing me to look at him skeptically and ignoring that last part he said.
“What you guys doing?” Flynn throws himself onto my side almost knocking the breath out of me.
“Crack my ribs why don’t you?” oh my, my witty remarks have not been affected by Flynn’s stupid kiss.
“Oh Brookie, I do always feel welcome when I’m around you,” he rolls his eyes while pulling me closer to his side.
“Oh you guys are so naïve,” Ryan smirks with a chuckle before getting up and leaving the couch, completely ignoring my very obvious pleading gaze.
“Would you let go, you’re suffocating me,” I struggle in my enemy’s arms.
“Geez, you really don’t like my company, do you?” something in Flynn’s voice has me wanting to apologize, I don’t know why.
