I looked out the window at the city of London. The buildings seemed to pass me by, though I was the one moving.

The car finally stopped, and the band and I filed into a clothing store. It was empty, besides us and what appeared to be a store employee.

"Hello Paul, what can I do for you today?" the man asked.

Apparently Paul had some fashion connections.

"Well Jeff, my friend Penny needs some new clothes. The ones she's wearing are the only clothes she's got," Paul answered.

"Ah, I see," the man, Jeff, looked me up and down, "What were you thinking?" he asked Paul, while still looking at me.

"Well maybe just some casual, but stylish clothes. She's coming with us to our photo shoot today," Paul said.

Jeff nodded and walked briskly to the back of the store.

That was when John decided to take a long, brown, wig, from a mannequin and start goofing around.

"Hello darling," he chirped at Ringo.

John then proceeded to widen his eyes and curl his bottom lip in, giving Ringo a very strange and silly look.

"Sorry, I've already got me a bird," Ringo shoved John into George.

"Oh, what about you, you handsome boy! How about a kiss?" John joked again, twirling the long hair from the wig.

George stepped back, "Oh, you seem like a lovely lady, but I've already got a girl, see!" George pulled me close to him and gave me a quick peck on the lips, causing me to blush madly.

"Ugh, get a room!" John snickered.

He then looked at Paul and batted his eyelids, "I guess that just leaves you, Macca," he went back into his high pitched female voice.

"Oh, what a bird!" Paul exclaimed, and ran towards John.

John then jumped and yelped, "You'll have to catch me first!" and started running around the store.

"Playing hard to get, are we?" Paul laughed and ran after John.

It was then that Jeff walked back, holding a mountain of clothes, and giving Paul and John very odd looks. He decided to dismiss their behavior, and focus his attention back on me.

"Alright dear, let's get you out of those rags and into something more proper," he said.

I tried not to be offended by him calling my clothes rags, and walked with him to the dressing room. He shoved the pile of clothing into my hands, and set me to work.

First I tried on a dress that looked like a tablecloth. I walked out from the dressing room. Jeff took one look at me and sent me back in.

I then tried on a very tight skirt and a very odd fitting, faux, fur, blouse. I wasn't even sure if I had it on forwards.

I walked out of the dressing room and John gasped, "Oh no! Penny's turned into a dog!"

"Jeff, do you have any outfits I can wear that involve pants?" I asked, I was getting very uncomfortable now.

He pondered the idea for a minute, then shouted, "I know!" and speed walked over to a bin filled with clothes. He came back with a pair of light red colored jeans, and a button down blouse with matching red polka dots.

I put them on and felt much more comfortable than with the previous outfits. I walked out of the dressing room once again.

Jeff looked at me and smiled, "Wonderful darling! You look fab!" he clapped his hands together and spun around.

George walked over to me and took my hand, "You look very pretty,"

I blushed and mumbled a thank you.

Jeff then walked up to me, holding a pair of boots. They appeared to be the famous "Beatle Boots" that the band was wearing at that very second.

"I figured if you were going to hang around with the Beatles, you'd need a pair of these! They look about your size," Jeff said as he handed them to me.

I took off my hi-tops and shoved them into my bag, I put on the boots. My inner fangirl was screaming, they were so cool.

"Now that we've got her all squared away, what can I do for you boys?" Jeff asked.

"We'll take the usual disguises," Paul said.

"Disguises?" I asked.

"We wanted to do a bit of walking around town today," Paul answered, "we need some disguises so that we don't get mobbed."

I waited at the front of the store for the boys to get back. I slipped my jean jacket on, and looked down at my new outfit. It was very nice, not what I usually wore, but nice. I just hoped that it didn't cost too much. To my protest, they had gotten me a couple more pants and shirts that were similar in style, but different colors. I rolled them up and placed them into my bag.

I looked up from my bag; I saw movement out of the corner of my eye. Four men walked to the front of the store, all wearing big coats, scarves, and hats to hide their faces.

"C'mon, Penny darling, let's be off!" John shouted in a garbled manner due to his scarf.

George offered me his arm, and I took it as we walked out the front doors.

The December air was cool, but nice. I looked around at all of the busy people, going about their business, with no idea that The Beatles were right in front of them. Or for that matter, with no idea that a time traveler was in their midst.

The boys dragged me along, and I let my mind wander as they spoke. They were so talkative. I looked up at the grey winter sky as I pondered my situation.

I wracked my brain for any information about the Jump Reader. Maybe I can rebuild it. I thought. I don't know where I could get the parts. Or if any of the parts have even been invented yet... No, finding it would be my best option.

I broke my gaze from the sky as George unlatched his arm from mine. He plucked a flower from a cart, and gave a man a couple of coins. He handed a purple tulip to me.

"Oh thank you George, it's beautiful," I said as I tucked it into my bag.

George smiled and wrapped his arm around me. I leaned into him is we continued to walk down the street, and into a large building.

The Beatles took off their scarves, hats, and coats.

"Time for the photo shoot!" Paul exclaimed.
