Falling in love with Xiumin

Chapter 3: Little Bumps in the Road

After the kiss Xiumin and I stopped talking to each other for the rest of the day. It was so awkward between us whenever we ended up in the same room. Of course i wanted to ask what that kiss meant to him. Also i wanted him to talk to me first because i was way to scared to ask.

Xiumin's POV (something new)

OMG I can't believe that i kissed her and said that i loved her omg please. She's so cute and its so awkward. I should talk to her right. After contemplating in the bathroom I walked to Baekhyun's room and knocked on the door. He let me in and I started complaining about what I should do with (Y/N). Baekhyun calmed me down and told me to just go up to her and talk to her calmly. Baekhyun was telling me how I should have confidence and believe in myself. So I ran to the store and got some flowers and a card. Knowing her favorite flowers were roses I got some pink and red roses and went back home.

As I was walking home I saw (Y/N)come out of the house and walking towards the park. Out of curiosity I followed her. (I swear I'm not a creep) As I was walking behind (Y/N), she seemed pretty happy and looking forward to something. She finally stopped and sat down on a bench and went on her phone. I was pretty far away from her so I couldn't see what she was doing. A couple minutes had past and she was just sitting there waiting for someone or something. Then out of no where she screams someones name and runs up someone. From my point of view it was a guy, and I dont know who and why they are hugging, but I got really jealous. I watched for a couple of minutes and each second that passed hurt me more and more. They seemed really close so I just left and went back towards the house. I've never felt like this before, it hurt seeing her with someone else and I just really wanted to be him. I got home and plopped myself on the couch, Baekhyun came up to me and saw the flowers and the note. He sat down and asked when I was planning on saying anything to (Y/N). I just got up took the flowers and went to my room. I just wanted to be alone and just lost in my thoughts so I locked my door.

(Y/N)'s POV

AHHHH, I'm so excited, I can't wait to see my best friend. I swear I haven't seen him in ages. His name is Justin btw. A couple years back when I came to Korea with my family, I had gone to Everland and got lost when I got distracted by the cotton candy. As a little kid, of course I started to cry and got really scared. But then this boy ran up to me and asked if I was okay and helped me find my family. At the time I didn't know who he was but he seemed nice so I agreed to let him help me. He led me to the customer service booth and asked if they could make an announcement that I was lost. A couple minutes passed and my parents showed up and asked if I was okay and saying how worried they were. After the hugging session I went to the boy and asked for his name and thanked him. He replied with a big smile and that his name is Justin. I ended up spending the rest of the day with Justin and my parents and his parents became close. Ever since then, every time I go to Korea, I've been hanging out with him and become closer and closer. He's always been the older brother to me and I'm crazy excited to see him today.

I got ready and headed for the park, when I got there Justin had texted me that he was running a little late and asked me to wait for him by the lake. So I just sat down and waited. I couldn't wait to see him and tell him about Xiumin. As I saw him approaching me, excitement took over and I ran up to him and hugged him. The last time I was in Korea was about 3 years ago so it had been a while and we had a lot to catch up on. I spent the next couple of hours laughing and catching up with him. While walking around I started talking about Xiumin, and each time I said how cute Xiumin was Justin just got really silent and didn't seem to really enjoy my stories so I stopped talking and it got really awkward. All of a sudden, Justin took my hands and looked straight into my eyes. I looked at him really confused and as I tried to ask what he was doing, he just pulled me into a kiss. I quickly pulled away and asked what he was doing. He all of a sudden confessed and asked me to be his girlfriend. Taken aback by this, I asked him for sometime decide. I mean I really like Xiumin, but I couldn't say no to Justin. Justin is a great guy, but I really liked Xiumin and I always say Justin as a brother. I quickly let go of his hands and said that I was heading home. We said our goodbyes and I slowly started walking home. My mind was all jumbled up, I came home and decided to visit Xiumin and the others tomorrow.
