Falling in love with Xiumin

Chapter 5: The Beginning

(Y/N)'s POV
I woke up and went outside and was about to go towards the bathroom when I noticed something was on the floor. The cutest little bear and the prettiest flowers lay there with a note. Excited I quickly ran back into my room forgetting the fact that I needed to use the bathroom. I set the bear down and read the note.

After reading, I'm pretty sure about a million butterflies had flown around my whole body. I can't wait for the picnic. It's going to be perfect. I need to go home and pick the perfect outfit.

Xiumin's POV
Today is the day that will mark the rest of time with (Y/N) it has to perfect. I asked D.O. if he could help me make something and he agreed so we went to the supermarket for some shopping. We decided to make little sandwiches because it was easy to bring around and eat. Also we added someone deserts and drinks. The time to meet (Y/N) was coming and I couldn't wait. I went back home with D.O. and we started to prepare for the picnic.

As the picnic preparations came to a final I got a text from (Y/N) saying that she was going to leave soon. I needed to hurry to the park and get ready.

(Y/N)'s POV
When I arrived home I ran up to my room and started going crazy inside my closet. I swear I looked through every single thing I had and I couldn't find a thing. Then I heard a knock on my door. I told whomever to come in. And it was my cousin Sarah. She saw and heard the mess in my room so she asked what was up. I complained to her about how I have a perfect date coming up but I have nothing to wear. She smiled and grabbed my hand and lead me to her room. She sat me down on the bed and went into her closet. She pulled out the prettiest dark blue dress I had ever seen. It wasn't too fancy and not too casual. It was just right. She said she would let me wear it for today and I jumped up for joy. I went to my makeup table and started doing my makeup. In between I decided to text Xiumin and give him a heads up that I was coming soon.

I finished my makeup and took my black sandals and went out the door. I walked towards the park and pictured everything about that could happen during the date until my thoughts were cut off.

"Hey (Y/N)"
I turned around to see Justin. At first I was pretty happy to see him but then realized what had happened a couple days before. I said hi back and there was just a long awkward silence.

Justin- You look beautiful
(Y/N)- thanks, I put a lot of effort today
Justin- where are you going?
(Y/N)- to meet someone, speaking of that. I should go cause I'm running late
Justin- who are you meeting up with?
(Y/N)- Just a friend, well I have to go  byeeeeee

I quickly walked away from that really awkward conversation. I didn't want anything to ruin my picnic with Xiumin. I arrived at the park and went towards the lake. As I walked closer, I saw the other exo members waving at me. I waved back and kept walking until I saw Xiumin waiting for me with a cute little picnic set up. With a big smile on I walked towards him. (I swear did he get cuter or is it just me). He smiled back and held out his hands to me. I put my hands in his and he pulled me closer. He gave me a kiss on the forehead and said that he was happy that I came. I blushed and looked away but he told me that I was cute and to not look away.

The day passed quickly and the perfect date came to an end. The others members had left and Xiumin and I were laughing and talking the night away. I thought nothing could ruin this night. But I didn't know what would happen next.

Justin POV
WOW she walked on me fast. I wonder where she's going. While I was thinking to myself, Sarah walked up to me and told me it was non of busniess and walked out. I looked at the door confused and decided to follow Sarah. She led me to a park, I saw some exo members and then all of a sudden I see one of the members kissing (Y/N) on the forehead. My body started to heat up and I really wanted to go up to him and smack him, but (Y/N) looked happy so I held back. I walked away and went home. I laid down on my bed and thought about (Y/N). After a couple hours passed I realized that I needed to go and take her back or else I might never have her as mine. I quickly got up and ran to the park to find that they were still together. I slowly approached and called (Y/N)'s name and she turned around to see me with a shocked expression.

(Y/N) POV
I heard someone call me so I turned around to see Justin. I was pretty shocked and didn't know what to do  I quickly got up and asked why he was here. There was a long silence until Xiumin walked text me and grabbed my hand. He confidently stated that I was his girlfriend and that he was on a date with me and how we were leaving now. I was taken aback by what just happened and in a blink of an eye, Xiumin was ready to leave. He grabbed my hand again and walked away saying good bye to Justin. (WHAT JUST HAPPENED)

Xiumin's POV
I was having a great time with  (Y/N) until some guy called her name. She didn't seem that happy to see him so I stepped in to be the hero lol. I quickly told him off and got up and walked away with (Y/N). After we got out of the park, I noticed  (Y/N) looking down. I asked if she was okay and she looked up saying how she was sorry that our date was ruined. I smiled back and said that it wasn't ruined and how I had a great time. She smiled back and seemed happy. I walked her home and watched her go into her house before I left. Then I started walking home and couldn't stop smiling. I can't wait for the future to come.
