Chapter 4: Maybe I have a chance

The Next Morning

I woke up and went downstairs to eat breakfast with my aunt and uncle. I quickly finished my breakfast and told them that I was heading out to go meet up with Xiumin. Before I got up, my mom asked how the meet up with Justin went. *I had totally forgot that Justin had asked me out the night before* I quickly said it was okay and ran upstairs. I got into my white blouse and shorts, grabbed my black converse and ran out the door. As I reached the destination I saw D.O. and Baekhyun coming out. I went up to them and said hi. They both looked at me and asked what happened with Xiumin. I got really confused and asked what they were talking about. Then they told me that ever since yesterday Xiumin has been crazy down and hasn't left his room. Not knowing what was going on. I went inside and went up to Xiumin room. I knocked on the door and asked him to let me in. A couple seconds later he replied with his voice sounding like he had cried for a while saying to go away. I said I needed to talk to him but he still didn't open. I was determined to go in and talk to him so I told him that I would sit down next to his door and wait for him to come out.

Xiumin's POV
I stayed in my room all day and all night lost in my thoughts. I didn't want to do or see anything. Just the darkness in my room. I was sitting there looking through (Y/N) Instagram and Facebook and just getting more upset. Today I was ready to get out of my room until (Y/N) knocked on my door saying that she needed to talk to me. I didn't know what to do. I wasn't really mad and was mad at her. I was so confused so I just pushed her away. She said she would wait outside until I come out, which I don't find true.

Well a couple hours passed and I really was hungry so I opened my door and walked out and down on the floor I see (Y/N) sleeping. I can't believe she was here all this time. Anyway being the gentleman I am, I picked her up and placed her on my bed then ran to the kitchen to find some food. While I was waiting for the chicken to be done I just stood there in the kitchen thinking to myself. Until all of a sudden someone put their arms around me from the back. I quickly turned around and saw (Y/N). I was about to ask what she was doing but she cut me off by saying that she had been waiting a long time for me. And that she was happy to see me. She was still half asleep but I could tell those words were genuine. She let go of me and went to the sink to splash some water in her face to wake herself up. After the chicken was ready, we both went to the dinner room table and started munching on some chicken. While going through our second piece, she set her chicken down and looked at me. I looked up and made a questioning look on my face. Then she asked why I had been so locked up to myself and ignoring her. I looked back down at the chicken and said in a low voice that I saw her with another boy. And quickly said that I hope she was happy with him and got up. I was about to walk towards my room when (Y/N) grabbed my arm and dragged me closer to her. She smiled and said that the boy she met yesterday was just a friend and that she liked me. I was taken back at first and didn't know what to say. And remembered that I should take this chance and believe in myself. So I took her hands and faced her and said if she would be my girlfriend. And she said the most wonderful words I could have ever heard " yes I would love to" she quickly gave me a peck and went to the guest room that she was allowed to stay in.

(Y/N) POV
OMFG XIUMIN JUST ASKED ME OUT AND OMG I CAN'T BREATHE AHHHH. LIKE OMG LIKE IS THIS REAL LIKE I'M NOT DREAMING RIGHT. SOMEONE PINCH ME. Breathe breathe (Y/N) don't forget to breathe. Lol I'm calm now. I can't wait until tomorrow morning comes. I can see him and I wonder what's gonna happen. Do you think he'll plan something romantic? Hehe I can't wait to see what awaits me.

Xiumin POV

I can't believe (Y/N) actually said yes. Wow I overreacted over nothing. I should have known that boy was just a friend. Even though she um like went up to him and hugged him and went crazy. So I guess I'm not that weird for overreacting. Anyway I got to plan what to do. *Ummm what time is it. Oh it's 8. Hmmm hopefully some store is open* I quickly ran to the near by stores and got a small bear and went back home to set up some flowers and the bear Infront of her room with a note. I hope she likes it.

HI (Y/N) hope u slept well. Well I would love it if you joined me today at the park for a little picnic. Nothing big just a cute picnic. Can't wait to see u there.

Narrator's POV

Awww a new couple has come to a great beginning. Will these relationship last long and be a beautiful one or will someone bud in and try to stop it. We'll have to wait and see.
