“Louis?” I asked, shocked. I felt Harry squeeze my side a little too hard. Is asking a question not under the rule of behaving?
Louis smiled at me as we walked into the house. It was decorated similairly to his flat back on campus, except this one was much roomier. Is Liam here too?
“Yes, love?” he smiled at me. I felt Harry stiffen next to me. I was about to open my mouth and ask him another question when Harry interrupted me. “You are going to be staying the night here with Louis and Liam and I,” Harry said.
I pulled away from his grip and shook my head quickly. “No I am not. I have work tomorrow morning, I have nothing to wear, and I have classes today. You can’t just kidnap me. I thought you and Liam lived on campus, Louis?” I asked, turning towards him quickly, avoiding Harry’s glare at my outburst.
“Liam and I had to, I guess you could say, move out. This place is much nicer though, don’t you think?” he smiled, sitting on the way too large sofa that took up a large spot in front of a television equipped with a bunch of gaming shit. These guys obviously have too much money for their own good.
Harry walked up next to me and put his arm back around my waist with a rather tight hold. I decided not to fight against it…yet. “You are going to be staying here. Don’t worry, someone will be home at all times and you can probably go back to campus in the morning,” Harry said more to me than Louis. I’m sure Louis already knows all the details already though considering he was “expecting” us.
“Probably?” I gaped. This is bullshit. “If you be a good girl and let the big boys handle adult things for a while then yes, you probably can,” Harry said, his jaw tight. I sighed and walked to sit next to Louis on the couch, annoyed of Harry’s temper, and honestly, quite afraid considering he just beat up a man on the street.
Harry glared at me and walked out of the room.
“Don’t worry love, just some business to take care of,” Louis smiled at me.
“I don’t see how I’m involved at all,” I sighed, leaning my head back on the back of the couch. Louis laughed. “You don’t know the half of it,” he chuckled. I looked at him questioningly.
What the fuck are these guys up to?
“Where is Liam?” I asked, sitting up. Louis put his arm around the back of the chair and I didn’t care. As long as he isn’t touching me right now, I’m fine.
“Liam is-”
“Out” Harry interrupted, walking back in with a glass of water in his hands. No worries, I didn’t want any water, thanks for asking Harry.
Louis cleared his throat. “Yes, um, he is out, as Harry said.” I huffed as Harry and Louis exchanged glances. I’m too annoyed to even try to get something out of them at this point.
I don’t know what could possibly be so secretive that they have to keep it from me. I have maybe one friend outside of Harry, Louis, Niall, Zayn, and Liam. What kind of threat could I pose to some huge secret? And what the hell is the big deal anyway? They’re just a bunch of college kids, what kind of deep shit could they be in to? All of these, and more, questions are making me go mad.
I laid down on the couch, my feet on Louis’ lap, ignoring the glances from both Harry and Louis. It’s barely the afternoon and I’m exhausted.
Harry stalks over towards the couch, putting his glass of water on the side table, and looks down at me. “I’m not going to move,” I plainly state. Louis chuckles.
“Logan don’t test me,” Harry says. His towering height is quite intimidating, and having seen him beat up a man is still fresh in my mind, but he wouldn’t dare to do anything to me.
