I know wounds always take a little time to heal,
But I'm not going to leave in this time of duress.
You don't have to worry about the pain of my absence,
Or that I'll be gone before the morning comes.
The memories we had weren't the best.
But if you would give me another chance,
I would like to make up for the past,
And hold on to every second spent.
I'm not asking for you to forgive me,
I don't expect you to forget everything I did.
I have all the time in the world, I'll wait forever for you.
I'm not going anywhere, I'm here to stay.
