A Dragon's Burning Star: Misleading Pathways

Lucy's POV

I feel confident of myself, telling the truth to the one I love. His name is Natsu. Natsu Dragneel, a complete idiot, my idiot. His pink/salamander hair is so kawaii!  I want him to be mine, I need him to be mine. As I walk in the guild the guild is drinking booze and yelling 'Welcome home Lissana!' Lissana? Who's Lissana? Then a certain pink haired boy catches my attention hugging to death a white-haired girl. I froze staring at them, they, they happier then Natsu and I did when we hugged. Anger bubbled in me, but then I cooled off. Is this what jealousy is? I burning coal inside of yourself making you want to hurt somebody 'cause you can't get it out? I shook my head and sat down at the bar, elbows meeting the hard bar-table. Then I saw Mira approach me,

"Can I get you anything Lucy?"

"A pink lemonade please."

"Coming on the way!" Moments later Mira gave me the lemonade and while I started drinking I asked Mira a question that has been on my mind since today,

"Mira?"

"Yes?"

"Who is Lissana?"

"Lissana? Is the white-haired mage over there" Mira explained, pointing toward Natsu.

"Mage?" she said confused.

"Yes, like Elfman and I. Elfman, being Beast take-over myself Demon take-over and Lissana being an Animal take-over mages. It all runs in the take-over Strauss family!" Mira squealed.

"Is this why Natsu chose Lissana over me?" Mira snorted.

"Why did you do that?"

"Jealous, ehh?" I blushed madly.

"Wh-what are you talking about?"

"Don't play dumb!" she said playfully.

"You said your thoughts straight out." I did?

Natsu's POV

I was listening to Lissana talk about everyone's counter part in a place called Medoglass or something like that…

"Man Natsu was getting torn down by Lucy Ashley… there's a Lucy here in this guild?"she pondered.

"Yes, Lucy Heartifilia" Erza informed Lissana.

"My best friend!" I added cheerfully. I saw Lissana stare at me intensely.

"Wh-what?" I asked. Her gaze fell from intense to cheerful. Man, what a mood swing.

"Can I meet this Lucy?" she asked.

"Sure!" I answered back. I looked for her, there! I found her and dragged Lissana along with me.

Lissana's POV

I hope that the Lucy here is much more nicer than the one at Edolas. (,-_-) When I saw her she looked girlish than the Lucy Ashley. She looked pretty, and harmless.

"Hey Luce! Here is Lissana." Natsu said

"Hi!" I said.

"Hello! I'm Lucy Heartifilia, you can call me Lucy!" Lucy smiled faintly.

"I'm Lissana Strauss, you can call me Lissana." I responded giving her a warm smile. Lucy held out her hand, I stuck my hand out to shake her hand.

"Come on Lissana let's go on a job together!" Natsu broke the silence. He put his arm, his warm arm, around me. Lucy looked down frowning slightly her bangs shadowing her eyes. Huh? What. What. Happened to her? Oh well, I'm clueless! I smiled at him, took a job, and left the guild.

Lucy's POV

Natsu. Why? Do you love Lissana more than me?

5 weeks later

I feel so… so lonely. Everyone is hanging out with Lissana. Have I been forgotten? Even my team forgets me. I'm such a burden. Even team Natsu forgot me. They just complete the job without me and I just come along doing nothing. I'm so pitiful. I come in the guild having Lissana coming to me crying and saying that she was sorry. Confused I go over to the bar and ask Mira for a glass of Pink Lemonade. What happened?

What happens next if Lucy finds out what's going wrong. One choice can decide you. One choice can transform you. One choice can destroy you.
