Betray

When the ship came to a crash and the waves grew large.

you left me feeling like i was behind bars.

lost and alone.

cold and feared.

you left our friendship without a glance back at me.

you were my best friend isnt that weird.

you tell me that you had to.

that i can never understand.

you left my heart hanging by only a strand.

I hope you come back.

I hope you dont stray.

we may never be friends again due to that enemy i hate.

when i was down and alone you helped me come through.

now that you betrayed me who do i turn to?

how can i trust a soul left on this earth?

know that when i trusted you i got hurt.

It may have been me who caused our friendship so much grief,

but when i left it up to you you threw me into the sea.

In this ocean of emotion i try not to speak.

for fear that my voice may crack and all emotions be released.

This is what happens when you betray someone so hard.

Now i cant even trust who my friends are.
