Ive tried

I keep trying,

I try to push myself and I try to let it go.

I try not to let anyone in,

I can't let it show.

I can't let them see what goes through my mind,

The thoughts and scenarios playing.

I say I want to be alone but nobody understands.

I'm alone with my thoughts and that scarier than the scariest movie.

I'm alone in my dreams,

Each dream tortures me.

I wake up at 3 and hold back screams.

My body locks up and I can't breathe.

Nobody understands when they tell me to stop,

I've tried.
