You and Thomas like simple things, although both of you are very smart, you don't like things, especially lamps, that have too many components to them. This lamp is perfect; it's all one color, and its pretty much made up of the same shape.
Newt:

One thing that people usually wouldn't guess about you and Newt is the fact that you like to confuse people. This lamp is the kind of lamp that attracts all the eyes in the room, Newt says you do that too. You and Newt have a secret behind why you have the lamp, but that would ruin the fun if I told you! Besides, you should already know anyways.
Minho:

Minho loves this lamp because it reminds him of a compass. When him and you were both runners, the compass helped you guys a lot. No matter how much Minho complained about everything in the glade, he really did like it when he met you there.
Gally:

Gally may seem all tough and mighty, but truth be told; he isn't. He always told everyone that visited that it was you that picked out the lamp. But, you remember that day perfectly. You two were in the store and Gally saw it, almost screaming in excitement. Now you two have a dog that looks exactly like it, which Gally also says was your idea as well.
