Chapter 02: A voice that should be ashamed on

Sweet song with the mix of lullaby of praises, a gush of wind touched every creature who came to celebrate, birth of another life on Archaine. People sway their hips to the beat of the music, stomping feet coming from the hobgoblins corner where they busy drinking alcohol, giggles of the made woman and gossips when a good looking man walk in their way, a conversation of lucere with their wise choice of words, while doors that sitting silently savoring the fresh cooked meat and fruit in their table. All 9 creatures in Archaine celebrate the birth of her child.

Again in my first dream, the girl Rosetta is sitting with me in the ground, where the grass tickles my butt. While all people here in Andialus are glorifying a new life, Rosetta was overcome with gloom and grief in her face. As I remember in my first dream of her she had a natural light gold blond that curled beautifully, stormy gray eyes that held knowledge every look in her eyes and slender body that covered in white flowing dress signifying her as being a lucere. Still, I don't know why I keep having her in my dreams.

"They are so happy, there are so unwary not worrying what's about to happen unlike me already preparing for what will happen in future," she said to come out of no where her fist clenched tightly as anger flowed her feelings.

"Don't be like that Rosetta just forget what reason makes you angry and let just sing together with the other maybe" I cheerfully said, standing up from where I was sitting and lend my hand to Rosetta waiting for her to take my suggestion.

She takes my hands and I pull her to the crowd who is singing with their claimed voices.

The dream ended, waking up staring in the blue skies reminding me of her eyes. I sit up from the rag cloth I used as my bed, I saw Jack still asleep beside me while Christine is out of my sight. I wonder where she is. I stand up carefully not to wake Jack up and I need to find food to eat, I'm sure Jack is hungry when he wakes up.

"Hmm, where is Christine again?" I ask myself and walking away from the campsite.

It's five days been passed ever since we saw her dragged away from us, I know Christine is still mourning her unknown death but we cannot just sulk down and sob until we die, we fight for our freedom and we cannot just waste it we must move on and take the path of our goal, that we unsure for now.

I can't blame her I only know her the same day she died or so we think and I didn't have the time to know her more but I'm felt a bit guilty about what happened, we just stand and didn't even try to save her our action is unreasonable and unforgiving. Now I even using the name that her parents gave to her signifying that she is a gift to them, I wonder who my parents were or they are trying to find me? Are they worried that I'm gone and where I am?

So many questions but no one can answer.

I'm beginning to get frustrated when a melody hit my eardrums, It's coming from the forest. I look back at the camp where little Jack is still snoring, but I decided to find where the song coming from. As I walk near where I hear faintly a voice, the melody is oddly sad it that makes my eyes tear up, I don't know if it's the effect of her voice but definitely bringing my emotions to heighten. I can almost see the shadows of the singer but I stopped on my tracks when I saw Christine.

So Christine can sing, huh. I was about to say that out loud.

But her tears stop me from saying my remark. It is about Yvonne, I never knew how long they knew each other I've never asked and comfort her. I was going to cheer up her but Christine stops and look over her shoulder. Her eyes widen seeing me behind her few feet away.

"How long have you been there?" she asked bewildered but the realization that I heard her singing

"Did you hear me singing?" I nodded and her face pale
