A/N: I created new prologue and edited the first one, but the syntax error are still possible.

Prologue 1.2

Eyes are the windows of our souls.

The new birth classify the innocence, protected from the sins that you committed on your afterlife, a chance given to the people who wanted to change the course of their wrong taken path to make it right, I believe that's what I am.

Given a new chance being born anew to this world but I just woke up in a wrong time and place.

As my eyes opened for the first time, a metal bars greeted me rather than a warm and comfy bed, I thought also that i will meet people but then the first thing I saw are the hideous creature ever lived, coming from me who hasn't seen this world fully.

"What kind of things are you" first words came out from my mouth, still sore from the lack of use but I manage to form the words questioning if this horrid creatures truly exist.

Growl came pass out of their mouths making their nasty razor teeth visible to my sight, yuck! I could see the tartar in their mouths, are these kinds don't know how to brush their teeth. But then why would I care, that's what they do on their lives I will not concern myself to the ways they do but focus on how to free myself from this metal bars keeping me cage up.

Biting my lips thinking on how to escape when one thing caught my attention, a tree standing meters away from me but I could feel something usual to that tree that solely have a force leading me to stare. The tree is different from the other millions or billions of trees, I could hear its heartbeat and a small hitch breath from it, but how could it be possible?

I'm not sane enough to believe what I see and hear, I'm still new to this kind of things and add that I don't have memories of my past to help me is making it more unbelievable.

Then here it again another presence that suffocating me, dark energy trying to strangle me to death, I touch my throat trying to fill my lungs an air for me to breath in, as I try a voice snapped me from the suffering of lack of air.

"Are you okay?" gentles voice like a melody asked, I look at my side where I take a glance to the girl who talked.

The girl is sitting on her own cage casually not even bothered to the fact that she's imprisoned. I glance to the horrid creature that who left after he knew I shut up. He looked out around with his pointy sword that is bigger than his size.

I stare back to the girl now realizing that there are another two cages, one is seeable to take a glimpse of a girl who looks at me with fire in her eyes and another cage is hidden by a large cloth.

"Are you okay" she asked again.

"Who are you?" I said not bothering to answer the questions I don't felt the force trying to strangle me anymore so why bother to answer the obvious.

"I'm Yvonne" cheerfully she answered me with a smile on her face.

She move to her side I saw something in her left shoulder, a king of markings making me frown when I felt it again an evil force trying to pull someone's life away from your body. But then it's gone again.

"And this is Christine" snapping me out from the trance, the girl who name is Yvonne are pointing the another girl who have fire in her eyes.

I offer her a smile but clearly she hated that because she gave me a scowl. Yvonne look baffled to Christine's disapproval but I clearly understand that trust is earned not can be given lightly.

"Ah-umm so who are you" I could see Yvonne trying to make a conversation and not answering is rude.

"Actually I don't know who I am" my honest response. She just grinned to me that bemuse, how could she smile widely to someone who just stated that she doesn't know herself.

"Don't worry it will come back, you just need to find a way" she oddly laid back to the situation.

"Umm thank you" I don't know what to say back.

On Yvonne side Christine looks pissed, she grips the metal bars tightly, anger flows from her like a river of water.

"How could you two act like in a casual conversation when we are being locked up in this cages treated like an animal that we are not" Christine bark angrily, Yvonne just rolled her eyes to her best friend's personality.

"Can you please calm down Christine, I have a plan, I always have" Yvonne proudly said, facing Christine who still looking at me with anger in her emerald green eyes.

"Then what is it?"

"So we just need to get the keys from the guard," Yvonne said pointing to the creature.

The creature are truly are abominable from the pointy ears, bloodshot red eyes and small 3 feet height they must be elf or so I thought. Yvonne looked to the creatures with disgust and creating the face who wanted to vomit by just looking at them. I don't know how to describe them but I'm scared by looking to it.

So I decided to look away.

"What are they," I asked Yvonne still curious on what kind of creature are them.

"Hobgoblins, nasty little things who crave blood and death" She answers we a smile, there is it again she always smile like savoring the feeling of happiness that is there, a false happiness.

"Hobgoblins" I murmur.

"So go back to the plan, you girl who doesn't have a name will distract the guard and take the keys from him and after that we improvise to the next step" Yvonne explained but I'm worried to the improvise plan she wanted, what if we don't came up with good idea to use.

"I don't like your plan Yvonne, improvise are you out of your mind we need more than improvisation to escape this place" Christine opposed, I didn't try to enter their fight but I scanned the whole place.

We are open field with trees surrounding us, there are also tents where the hobgoblins slept, a camp fire near at my cage where log are placed for a replace of a chair they can use to sit. And the bad news these creatures are many as I thought, with a numbers of hundreds or more, so Christine must be right improvisation is not good idea to escape this big site.

But how could the hobgoblins manage to create this flawless site, to the guards surrounding us, to the goods of foods and edible things to eat and to the weapon they use. And why would they be so guarded if only they have four prisoners. What got me thinking is who is inside the fourth cage.

"Tomorrow," Yvonne said, I didn't catch up to the conversation they have but I could see Christine loss on their fight.

Tomorrow

I hope nothing goes wrong.
