[Heaven]Safety. Luna felt safety in the arms of the blond, sleek, man, beside her. They were the only ones in the compartment. Harry and Ginny had their own compartment, and so did Ron and Hermione, while Neville stayed at Hogwarts, for being a professor was his job. The train ride was peacefully silent. Both Luna and Draco enjoyed each other's company even when no words were uttered. It was a remarkable year for Luna, and so it was too for Draco. Visiting Hogwarts gave them time to reminisce at the nostalgic magical time they had at the castle. None of the which, they wanted to remember their most embarrassing moments, nope.
Draco tapped his fingers slightly on his knee, trying to refrain himself from sleeping. It was already morning, and approximately 9:30. They hadn't taken breakfast yet, but Draco hesitated to wake Luna up, especially when she was in this state.
But she can sleep later, Draco thought.
Now was the time for breakfast, "Luna," he whispered, "Luna, wake up now," he said as he shook Luna softly. The young lady started to stir and shift and mutter inaudible words.
Draco grinned at the sight and shook her again lightly, "Luna, we're gonna have breakfast today, come on now, I think Ginny and Harry are waiting for us," he explained to her.
Luna's eyes were still completely closed, but it was true to say she was half awake. At least Draco was making progress.
Draco was just about to tell Luna to get up again, they compartment door slammed open, making Draco jumped from his safe state, and pulled out his wand rapidly, turning to face the intruder, who was a red faced Ginny.
Draco placed a hand on his chest and took a deep breath of relief, "Don't you ever do that again, that was rude!" he scolded.
Ginny crossed her arms across her chest, and tilt her head on the side, "Since when did you know about manners, Malfoy?" she said with an attitude, then her eyes went to Luna, "Come on now dear," she said, pulling Luna up from her seat, intertwining their hands with a joyful smile, "We're going to eat breakfast together!" she exclaimed.
Hurriedly, Ginny took the already wide awake Luna out of the compartment, and both march to another compartment.
Ginny then pulled a door open and slid Luna into the compartment. Hermione and Ron were there, preparing the dining table. Draco immediately followed after, sitting himself, beside Luna. Then last to come in was Ginny and Harry, both had wide smiles on their faces, which Luna weirdly found it cute.
"I've prepared breakfast for all of us, if that's alright with all of you," Hermione stated, keeping a strand of her hair at the back of her right ear.
"Oh Hermione, that's so sweet of you," Luna said in a dreamy tone. She smiled as Hermione appreciated her acknowledgement.
"Well, let's not let the blessing wait, eat up," Ron said, grinning.
And so everyone did, all six of them ate merrily, chatting about things, taking trips down memory lane, all the fun you would have in breakfast with friends.
"So what you guys up to when we go back to our jobs?" Harry spoke, before taking in a spoonful of his meal.
"We can still meet up," Ginny stated, "And on weekends we can have fun together, go on parks, visit the muggle world, or just take drinks on bars," she said, trailing off to state her ideas.
Ron however shook his head, "Gin, we've got work, and weekends are only days we can take a rest," he said.
Ginny nodded understanding, "Yeah, but, we'll see each other, right?" she asked, hoping.
Ron gave out a small chuckle, "Of course we will, just not all the time," he said.
Hermione agreed with this, as she nodded, "Clearly, we ought to spend time together, but we can't promise that that would be constant," she said, "And besides, paperwork is such a busy thing to sent aside."
"How about you Luna," Harry spoke, "What are your plans for the weekend?"
Luna swallowed her food before speaking, "I'm going America this Saturday," she answered.
Harry's eyes immediately widen, and took him a moment to grin at her, "Well, that's great, Luna!" he exclaimed, "How long will you stay there?"
"Just a couple of weeks," she said, "There were reports about these very odd creature, I forgot it's name, though, but I'm assigned on its case,"
Harry nodded, "How about you, Draco?" he asked.
Draco shrugged, "Well, I'll be at the hospital, mending up patients," he answered.
"No plans for the weekend?"
"Not yet, but I'm looking forward that there will be," he said, glancing at Luna.
Harry nodded, "So, we'll just owl each other then?" he asked,
"Yeah, that's the most possible way to stay updated with each other," Ron agreed.
Everyone was done eating by the time the conversation started to end. Everyone went to their compartments and packed their things up, for the train was about to take a halt already.
"We're almost there," Luna said, once she and Draco were alone.
"So, America, huh?" Draco spoke, closing his case for the last time on the trip.
Luna looked up to him, "Yes," she spoke softly. She absentmindedly played with her fingers. Luna knew Draco was disappointed with her traveling around places, and she also hated the fact that she would be away from him.
"Are you alright?" Draco spoke, cutting her trance.
Luna turned to look at him directly in the eye, and spoke, "Thank you," And with that, a small kiss was shared between the two. The kind of soft, young, vulnerable.
Luna pulled apart, and caressed Draco's cheek, "I will be back, I promise,"
Draco smiled at her, "I know you will ..., Loony Lovegood,"
he chuckled remembering the odd name.Luna giggled quietly, taking his hand, before intertwining them, "Trust me, Slytherin Prince, I shall,"
