"Dude, thanks for meeting me here," Jacob pulled up to a seat at the bar next to his best friend, AJ, who had been there waiting for him.
"Yeah, man, of course," AJ said, "Everything OK?"
"Yeah," Jacob said. He lowered his voice and leaned in closer to AJ, "Hey, AJ? Can I tell you something?"
"Of course. Anything."
"I figured it out."
"Figured what out?"
"I figured out how to jump into other people's bodies. Like, possess them."
AJ rolled his eyes and took a solid swig from his drink.
"Not this again," he thought to himself.
"No, I'm serious!" Jacob insisted, "Go ahead and pick out anyone here. Anyone! I'll jump into them, no problem."
"OK, fine."
AJ scanned the bar. The thin afternoon crowd didn't offer much of a selection, so he settled on the bartender, Landon.
"Nice pick!" Jacob said, "I've been wanting to get inside of his cute little body for a long time. OK, here I go!"
Without warning, Jacob leapt up over the bar and barreled his way straight towards Landon. Instead of the resulting crash that AJ was expecting, he watched in astonishment as Jacob disappeared right into the shirtless bartender's body! AJ watched the bartender lose his balance and try to steady himself. The bartender blinked, shook his head a few times, and then a smile crept up on his lips. AJ instantly recognized it as Jacob's smile on the bartender's face. He literally couldn't believe it.
"So, what do you think?" Jacob said in the bartender's voice. He held his arms out and gave himself a little spin in front of AJ, showing off the toned torso he now possessed, "Can I get you something to drink?"
