~Ashley~

"Wanna get some ice cream?" I ask Melanie as she walks into the kitchen.

She's really sweet. It's been almost 3 weeks since I've met her and we're really great friends. She's really pretty. And she's super sweet. I could talk to her about anything and she knew how to cheer me up.

"Sure I'm down." She says sitting on the bed. She picks up a pair of shoes and puts them on.

"Hurry up. I don't have all day woman." I say fixing my hair.

"Shut up." She says getting up.

"Finally." I say and she giggles. "Should we invite Tyler and Josh." I ask as we head downstairs.

"Nah let them be." She says grabbing her purse.

"Okay then lets go." I say as we leave. We walk to the small ice cream shop near the beach and get us some ice cream.

"Let's go for another walk." I say as some ice cream dribbles down Melanie's chin. She wipes it off and giggles.

"Pretend you didn't see that." She says her face getting red.

"See what?" I say as I grab her hand and lead her out of the ice cream shop. We take a walk around the beach and decide to walk on a pier. It's was a pretty view. And I'm not talking about the beach. I was talking about Melanie.

She was so gorgeous.

I always had trouble looking her in the eyes because I was afraid I'd get lost in them. She was genuinely a great person and I loved hanging out with her.

But I'm not gonna let her complete me.

I can't.

I don't wanna go through another heartbreak again.

We took our shoes off and dangled our feet into the water. She kicked water at me and I did it back.

We laughed for a bit then decided to go farther down the pier. We leaned on the edge and stared into the ocean. The view was quite breathtaking. I'm not talking about the ocean.

I'm talking about her.

She was just so pretty.

"What?" She asked giggling.

"Nothing." I lie.

"Liar. Tell me."

"I was just thinking about pushing you into the water." I grin.

"You wouldn't dare."

I laugh and push her. But before she falls in I grab her waist and pull her into me to prevent her from falling.

It was quiet.

It was our own world.

My chin was resting on her head. We both looked out into the view not saying any words. We just let time speak for us. After a while of silence and staring at the ocean, she turned around causing my hands to leave her waist.

Our eyes met for what felt like eternity, our faces centimeters apart. Neither of us daring to move any closer.

I then rested my forehead against hers not breaking eye contact.

"We should head back." I say breaking the silence.

"Yeah." She says turning her head. We walk back to the house and I unlock the door.

"Hey ladies. How was your day?" Tyler says as we walk into the kitchen.

"It was great. How was your evening?" Melanie asks.

"Great. We were just about to watch a movie if you two wanna join?" Josh says making some popcorn.

"Sure. I'm gonna change first. You coming Ashley?" Melanie asks.

"Yeah." We go upstairs into our room and close the door.

She looks for something then takes out a cute cow onesie.

"That's cute." I say examining it.

"Thanks. It's my favorite." She says. She then takes off her shirt leaving her in her bra. I tried not to stare but I couldn't help myself. Her body was beautiful. She slowly took her skirt off and then struggled to take her bra off.

"Hey can you.." she looks at me and I nod.

I go behind her and unclasp her bra. As it falls to the ground, it's like time stopped. My hands were then on her waist. Her breathing became uneven as I got closer.

I brought my face to the crook of her neck and her breathing stopped. My lips made its way into her neck and lingered there for a second. She let out a shaky sigh as my lips remained on her neck.

I promised myself I wouldn't let you complete me...

I quickly took my lips off of her and took a step back.

"Sorry. Here." I say handing Melanie her onesie.

"Thanks." She says quickly. She quickly puts it on and heads downstairs.

I take off my clothes and put on my American flag onesie and head downstairs too.

We always had those kind of moments but I always backed out.
