The Escape

As we all start to panic I remember the tunnel. When we built this place we made an emergency exit...The tunnel. The tunnel leads to a small town about 14miles away from the shelter. "The tunnel is the only way out" I say. After the statement the crew agreed to go threw the tunnel. We all pack bags with food,water,and weapons. We start to head out with the big heavy bags.

About 2 days go by with walking. "How much longer" Ella says. A not much is given by Trevor. As we walk down the dark narrow path we begin to see lighting. Only minutes after we were out of the tunnel. I see about 8 stores and 12 houses. We all go in to a Rite Aid and have guns in all directions. We hear a small groaning sound. Me and Trevor go to check it out. It was a walker trapped in between carts and heavy boxes. I go up to the walker and take out my knife my father had given me before the apocalypse. I stab the walker in the back of his head until the small moaning stops and brings silence to the store. We get bottles of water and move to the next store. Tractor Supply we go in and search for walkers. None. Cloie soon runs up to me and the rest of the crew. She tossed me Trevor and Casey walkie-talkies. We get batteries and leave the store. The next place was a sporting goods store. We go in check for walkers once again. We find the weapons department and get ammo and more assault rifles. Chase tosses me a Scar-H with an recon sight. As we get the new weapons we start looking again. We soon,to our luck,fine military weapons. We then pack our bags with explosives,clothes,and military food. We then take a look in the back and find gear. By that I mean,helmets,bullet proof vests,and claymores. We then decide to stay in one of the houses. We settle in to what we think is the best house,a ranch. We go in to find a beautiful home with deerskins and mounds nicely decorated on the log walls. There are 4 bedrooms. Me,Chase and Trevor share one. Gavin and Casey share one. And Cloie,Bethany,and Ella share one. The leftover room is an armory for the girls. The rest of the crew keep the weapons with them. Me and chase were awake til around 12 putting up barriers. We finally go to sleep. The next morning we wake up and discus a plan to go back to the shelter...
