Nightcrawler x Reader

"I'm sorry! I didn't see you!" you apologized to large man in front of you.

"It's fine." he responded scowling at you. He turned and left you on the floor. Frowning, you watched as the man got further and further away.

'Why did I take Professor's offer? No one here likes me.' you thought as I picked my things up off the ground. Once everything was up and organized again, you continued your way back to your room unaware of the pair of eyes following you.

Time skip to your room:

"Finally." you say falling onto your bed. You kicked your shoes off and grabbed the tv remote off your desk. Cutting it on, you flicked through the channels trying to find something to entertain you.

"There's nothing on." you sighed.

As you tossed the remote beside you,  there was a knock on your door. Frowning,  you hopped off your bed and walked to the door. You opened and stared questioningly at the blue man before you.

"Um, hi. How can I help you?" you asked.

"Hi, my name is Kurt, Kurt Wagner." the man said while holding his hand out.

"My names (Y/n)." you said taking his hand with a smile. Smiling, he gave you a firm handshake.

"So, how is your stay at the school?" he asked and your smile fell a little when you remembered all the incidents prior to this.

"Not going so good?" He asked seeing your mood shift.

"I'm trying so hard to fit in with everyone but it just seems that my efforts are going to waste. You know?"

He nodded, "Yes I understand. It's.... difficult to get others to have a liking for you. But not impossible. Be true about yourself to others and you. I've been observing you. You have a uniqueness about you." Kurt said smiling at you.

Blushing you looked away and smiled.

"Thanks."

"Oh! I came here to ask if you had dinner yet." Kurt said after a few seconds of silence.

"Oh um, no not yet." You say.

"The others sent me to get you. But seems I gotten sidetracked. Would you join me?"

"Of course! Lead the way." you reply smiling from ear to ear.

"On the way I can tell what I know about the others. Although my knowledge is limited it may help."

"I would love that." you say gratefully.

"Let me tell you first about the big burly hairy man."

You nodded showing you're listening.

'Looks like I finally made a friend.' you thought smiling to yourself.
