Twelve Days of Christmas {A Percy Jackson AU}

Christmas Day

"Thanks mom and dad!" Zoë exclaimed as she opened her last present, a Little Mermaid collectors figure.

Percy and Annabeth smiled. They loved spending Christmas morning with their kids. It was about noon, and they still had their pajamas on.

Luke was too busy reading his new book that he had gotten to pay too much attention to what his sister got, but when he checked his watch he gasped.

"Um, mom? Dad?" He said nervously while setting his book down. "Aren't our aunts uncles and cousins coming over at noon?"

Percy and Annabeth looked at each other, then at the clock, then at the wrapping paper scattered everywhere, and then at the clothes they were wearing.

"Everyone clean up!" Annabeth shouted. The whole Jackson family rushed about, throwing wrapping paper away, outing presents in their rooms, and when the living room was clean they dashed upstairs to get into more decent clothing. Just as Percy finished brushing his teeth the doorbell rang.

The Jacksons ran down the stairs, and opened the door.

"Merry Christmas!" Jason exclaimed. He was holding at least eight presents, while Theseus held seven, and Piper seven more.

"Merry Christmas." Percy said. "What's with all the presents?"

"We got presents for you guys and for everyone else who is coming." Theseus said while Zoë helped him carry the presents.

"Uh, Annabeth did we get presents for everyone?" Percy whispered to his wife.

She sighed. "Of course I did."

The Grace family came in and set the presents under the tree. They would open them as soon as everyone showed up.

Soon enough more people showed up. Frank and his family came, all dressed in nice clothing because Hazel insisted on it. Nico, Will and Bianca however all came in their pajamas, and Percy wished he had stayed in his. Thalia and Reyna came with presents and a bag of mysterious blue cookies.

Leo showed up wearing a red Santa suit and carrying a red bag. He even had a Santa hat on.

"Felíz Navedad! Your tío Leo has arrived!" He exclaimed. Buttercup came in wearing her sweater and sweatpants while Calypso was wearing a nice dress.

"Leo!" Piper said. "What are you—"

"Kids gather round!" Leo cut in. "Tío Leo has got presents for you all!"

Leo handed out presents. Luke got a reading light, Bianca got a necklace, while Theseus got a Thor t-shirt, Sammy got a how to pull good pranks book (written by Conor and Travis Stoll), Emily got headphones, while Zoë got an exact replica of Riptide, and it was not plastic.

"Cool!" Zoë exclaimed, while Annabeth gasped.

"She's still young!" She exclaimed to Leo, and Thalia laughed.

"You were only seven when you were handed your bronze knife." Thalia pointed out.

"And now for all you old people," Leo smirked. "I got presents for you too!"

Hazel smiled as she was handed paint cans, while Frank loved the warm blanket. Reyna was handed a gleaming golden sword and Percy received a snorkeling kit ("I can breathe under water you idiot!" Percy said annoyed, while Leo laughed his head off), and Annabeth got a grey sweater with the words "Wise Girl" stitched in it, and Jason got a super man shirt ("Very funny Leo." Jason rolled his eyes). Piper got what looked like a makeup kit, but on the inside was several weapons, which she was very happy about, Will got a new cookie book, while Nico received sunscreen ("I thought you could use some extra protection lately." Leo said wiggling his eyebrows and Nico tackled him). Thalia opened her present to see a 10% off Christmas tree decoration starter pack.

"What is the meaning of this?!?" Thalia fumed.

"Because, I thought you might like some new clothing, Thals." Leo said while Will got Nico off of him. Leo smiled innocently.

"Why you little—" Thalia growled and started cursing at Leo.

"Ooh, language." Leo said.

"There are children around!" Piper said.

"Yes, there is." Percy said and walked up to Nico and covered Nico's ears. "We wouldn't want the children to listen to such fowl language.

Nico angrily took Percy's hands off his ears. "Shut the hades up Jackson, I'm like seventy years older than you."

The kids were loving their toys while the parents either loved them or were annoyed by Leo. And then the door opened.

"Sorry we're late!" Apollo said, as he came inside, follows by his parents Rachel and Octavian. Octavian was holding a bag like the one Leo had brought in, except he wasn't wearing a Santa suit and hat.

"Merry Christmas." Rachel said cheerfully as she took off her hat and coat. Octavian set the bag down and smiled.

"We had to do some last minute wrapping." Octavian said. "Now, who wants presents?"

The kids shouted with glee, as Percy couldn't help smiling.

Octavian handed out presents, big and small, to the kids. Zoë got a cool plastic sword, Luke got a book in woodland creatures, Sammy got a joke book and Emily got a piano music book. Buttercup got a new set of awesome tools, Bianca got a notebook with a skull decoration, and Theseus got a set of pottery clay.

"Thank you, sir." Theseus said.

"Please, call me uncle Octavian." Octavian said a little shyly. "If that's okay with your parents."

The parents looked at each other, and Percy nodded. "It's fine." Percy said.

"No problem." Jason added.

"You kids want to open your other presents now?" Hazel asked.

The kids cheered, and Leo reached into his bag.

"Here you go Octy." Leo smiled and handed Octavian a giant teddy bear. "Merry Christmas."

Octavian rolled his eyes, and Rachel, Jason and Percy couldn't stop laughing.

On the Twelfth day of Christmas, my OTP gave to me,
Twelve special ornaments,
Eleven mugs of hot chocolate,
Ten pairs of ice skates,
Nine ugly sweaters,
Eight trays of cookies,
Seven mistletoe kisses,
Six Christmas cards,
Five last minute presents,
Four Christmas carols,
Three snowmen,
Two Christmas movies,
And one Christmas tree!
