Chapter 1 and Authors note

Hello to all my reader, If I even have any! 

My name is Hasena and this is my first book so please don't judge my grammar or spelling. I wrote this book when I was in 7th grade now I am in high school and in 9th grade, thanks for reading!

Xavier Regal POV:  

It was a cool summer's eve at Avadon kingdom, where peace and love were found. Peace and love continued until one day the king, my father had to give up his throne to one of his sons my brother Alexander or I Xavier due to old age. 

 I was sitting on the edge of my bed thinking about who my father will give his throne to. Obviously I wanted it to be me, but my goody two shoe brother Alexander, gets to have everything and anything he wills. 

Alexander Regal, tall, handsome, honey colored eyes, golden brown hair and a personality that starting from a baby all the way to the crippling old adore. He is always saying, the right things, moves with swift elegant grace and is the perfect gentlemen.

 I, on the other hand am Xavier Regal, Alexander's older twin brother but we look nothing alike. I am devilishly good looking with stormy gray eyes, silk black hair tall well built I like to keep to myself, have a jealous heart, and love power. I have been through a lot of heartache and have a hard time opening up to people. 

Our dear old father is very sick and has to appoint my brother or I to the throne soon. Today I went to visit his chamber and I couldn't help notice his ever weakening frail body. My father James, was once a very handsome man but now he is almost bald with lots of wrinkles on his face, neck and hands. His soft brown eyes still has the same charm, that always amazes me. 

My mother, Sarah is always attending to my father. Her once silk black luscious hair is peppered with white strand, her gray eyes are tired from worry, her tall thin frame is becoming weak from stress, her fair skin lightly wrinkled but always has a sweet smile upon her soft full lips.

I stood in the shadow as to not wake my father and watched for a while. Then headed to my room and ponder a way to overthrow my brother. He is the one my father is considering for the throne. Alexander is most liked, when compared to me but to our parents we are the same.
