A couple days went by and things were fairly decent.

No arguing, no anything. Things were pretty good, he spent most of his time at my house, studying for tests or constantly holding me captive in his lap.

The only downside is that now that Calum has finally settled into a peace with me, Michael hasn't yet completely, but I want to change that.

I text Michael and as I wait, I set my phone on the charger and stare at it. I look over at the sleeping boy in my bed. He is shirtless and he is laying on his stomach. His eyebrows are pulled together and you can see the muscles in his back. He has one arm under his stomach and the other wrapped around the blanket, which is wrapped halfway around him and balled under his head as a makeshift pillow, the bags under his eyes finally starting to lessen. Even like his, he looks kinda hot.

My phone vibrates and I pick it up and answer the call. "Mikey?" I say, thankful he has finally called me back.

"Can I come over, or is he there?"

"He is, but I'll meet you at the door." I say and I jump when I hear knocking at the basement door. "Already here?" I ask and he hangs up. Guess that's a yes.

I quickly run to the stairs and run up and open the door. He stands there and I step outside. "Mikey, don't hate me, I don't know if I can handle it."

"I don't hate you, Molls, I'm worried." He says softly. "I don't want you to get hurt. You don't know any of them like I did."

"Tell me why you hate them. Tell me." I say and he looks down.

"Angel Myers." He says and I frown. "Angel Myers was my girlfriend, I was so in love with her, Molly, it wasn't funny." He says and I immediately know where this is going. "He slept with her. I confronted her when I was told and she admitted it, apparently it had been happening for a very long time. He swears to god he didn't, but Ashton said he did, and Luke didn't take sides. Luke was the first person to break our friendship up when he stopped talking to all of us. Then it was Ashton, which left me and Calum hating each other and fighting all the time. Then none of us spoke ever again." He says and he has glassy eyes. "Then you came along and I felt better. I wanted to wake up in the mornings, because I knew I had someone who wasn't going to hurt me the way they all did. I just... I don't want him to take you away from me too, I can loose anyone, but not you. I wouldn't recover from that." He says and I hug my best friend.

"You won't loose me. We're family, remember?" I say and hold out my pinkie. He smiles sadly and wraps his around mine.

"Family." He says. "I'm gonna go home before I cry like a little bitch." He say and laughs. I nod and he walks away, looking sad. I kinda wish he would stay, but I know he won't.

I open the door and stand at the bottom of the steps as I state at the boy who is sitting on my bed with a fearful look. "Cal... "

"I didn't do it." He says and I don't respond. "Molly, please. I swear to god it wasn't me." He says and stands quickly. "I wouldn't do that to Michael. He was nicest, best person I'd ever met in my life."

"Then... Why did they say it was you?" I ask him.

"Because... because... I don't know!" He says and his eyes hold panic. "I wasn't the one who done it."

"Calum, I-"

"Please believe me." He says and walks closer. "Please, Molly. You have to believe me." He says and I do believe him. His eyes hold so much truth it's hard not to.

"I do, I believe you." I say softly and he sighs, letting his head fall on my shoulder as he hugs me tightly. "Let's go back to bed, I'm too tired to handle any of this."
-

"No no, you add that number." I tell the curly haired boy beside me. He gaps and puts his hands to his head.

"Oh my god, that just opened a new level of torture. You add that?!" He asks in disbelief. "God." He mumbles.

"Yeah, you have to add that. What have you been doing?" I ask him and his face turns red.

"Dividing it." He says.

"Ah, I see. You poor bastard." I say and he laughs.

"I think I understand now. It makes much more sense." He says and nods his head.

I don't know what happened, but I suddenly became friends with all three of them. Ashton, Calum, and Luke. None of them were happy with the other. "You got it? I gotta finish English." I ask him and he nods.

"You're an angel, Molly." He says. "Bless you and your future children." He says and I laugh.

"Yeah." I say and sit back at my desk where Michael sits with a snapback, the same snapback that the teacher told him to take off six times now. I'm counting, and the thing, it's mine. He is current trying to draw a metal Hello Kitty.

"Finish helping the helium filled kangaroo?" He asks bitterly and I give him a look and he groans. "Sorry, but I need help, does her swastika tattoo look good?" He asks and I smile at the drawing of what used to be one of my favorite things.

"Oh yes, and I love how it's right on her forehead."

"I'm just trying to raise awareness at how evil Hello Kitty is. Hitler's right hand cat."
"There is something seriously wrong with you." I say and shake my head.

I hardly get to work on my English because the bell rings and we all shoot out of the classroom. As soon as we do, Jill and Andrew are waiting for Michael and I sigh and walk on, knowing it'll be ten light years before he remembers me.

"Carpenter!" I hear and I see Luke sprinting at me, which terrifies me and I look for a place to run, but I'm stuck. I close eyes and wait for him to stop. "Jasper is in a fight."  He says and I shoot past him. I quickly run down the hall and I see Jasper and another guy hitting each other. Someone else gets there before I do. Calum.

He picks up Jasper around the waist and moves him with ease. "Hey, hey! Calm down and locate your chill, man. He is a kid!" Calum yells at the guy and Calum squints. "And you were getting your ass handed to you by him." He says and snorts.

I stop and see it's Reese. I growl, walking forward and Calum points a finger at me and I stop. "Really? Now you're really gonna get charges pressed against you, hitting a minor, Reese, way to go." Calum says and shakes his head. Reese walks away angrily and I go to Jasper, who spits blood into a trash can.

"I got him, Molls." He says and smiles.

"Congratulations." I say in a sarcastic tone. "What have I told you about messing with the bigger people?"

"He was being mean to Dee, his own sister, and then he started talking crap about you." He says. "I'm not gonna take that shit.''

"Watch your language." I say to him and he rolls his eyes, not caring.

"Say what now? About her?" Calum asks and I shake my head, latching onto his arm. Calum shuts his mouth but doesn't look happy. Jasper crosses his arms and scowls at me.

"I don't care, Jas, your dad's gonna be mad at you. Me, for letting it happen." I say to him.

"And?" He says.

"That's bad." I say slowly.

"I defended myself. And you. Who cares if I get in trouble. Dad isn't going to care." He says and I can see him getting angry.

''Yes he will." I say to him and he goes to speak but I cut him off and he groans. "Just forget it, come on." I say and reach for him.

"Fuck you." Jasper growls. "At least my dad acknowledges my existence, but I highly doubt he'd care about a stupid fight." He says.

I'm left feeling the hole, but I just sigh. ''You're right, whatever." I whisper and Jasper leaves. Calum puts a hand on my arm and pulls me closer to him. "It's fine, he is just angry, he doesn't mean it, I'm fine." I say, telling more than one lie.
