Epilogue
Kazuo placed a flower on Kizuo's grave as well as Satoshi's. They were buried next to each other.
He kneels down, and placed his palms together, and prayed. "May you two rest peacefully next to each other." He spoke with little to no emotion.
He goes over to his mom's grave, and places a flower too.
"I'm sorry Kazuo." His father spoke to him as he also placed a flower on his ex wife's grave. "I wasn't there for her. She lived alone. I'm sorry."
"It's fine." Kazuo gets up. "Things happen for a reason. I'm sure she wouldn't want you grieving, and feeling bad."
His father nods. "You are right."
Kazuo begins walking to his car. "I will see you again soon...stay in touch."
His father smiles. "Will do. Take care Kazuo."
They both got in their convertiables, and drove away.
The sun shone on the graves of Kizuo, and Satoshi. The splinter kit laid perfectly between them.
