Dan's POV

It's been a week since the kiss and I really want to talk to Y/N about the kiss and my feelings towards her. I went into the bathroom, put on deodorant, brushed my teeth and straightened my hair. Looking decent, I went back to my room and put on yet another pair of black skinny jeans (really surprising I know) and my galaxy jumper on. I went downstairs and ate my breakfast extremely fast. "Uh Dan..why're you eating like a monster on steroids?" Phil asked, slightly concerned as he munched on more cereal. "Well, I'm going to see Y/N and tell her how I feel!" I said sort of proud. "Are you sure this is a good idea? You know that Ma-" "Sorry can't talk I really gotta go. Bye Phil!" I grabbed my jacket and called a taxi. "Where ya going kid?" the taxi driver asked. "12 mile and Hollow Street." After a few minutes, I got out and decided to get her a gift while I'm over here. I went into the store and saw a snow globe that had a picture of London on the back of it. After that, I walked down the street until I reached her apartment complex. Let's see...Apartment 155....151...153..155. I took a deep breath and knocked on the door. Surly enough, Y/N opened the door and greeted me. "Hi Dan, how're you?" She asked. "I'm well thanks." "Hey Y/N? Was that the pizza guy?" A familiar voice asked. "Nah, it's Dan. Come in," She said as she opened the door. I walked in and saw a blob of red hair sitting on what I presumed was her family room couch. "Hey man! It's been a while," Mark said. "Oh yeah, Hi Mark," I said awkwardly. "I was going to tell you guys that Mark was coming over for the holidays, but I had to get the house ready for Mark," Y/N said. "Oh it's fine, I just came by to say hi," I lied. I felt even more awkward standing there with the bag and card that I had bought Y/N, knowing that she was still with Mark. "Well, it was nice seeing you guys but I think I'll go. You guys have some plans so go ahead and enjoy yourself," I said, leaving Y/N's apartment and walking back home. 

*time skip*

"Hey Dan, how'd it go?" Phil asked. "Mark's here." "Oh God Dan, I was gonna tell you but you wouldn't let me explain. Here, sit down, I'll make some tea." I sat down and wrapped myself in a blanket. "It's hot," Phil said cautiously. "I just don't get it. It's been eight months since she's seen him! How can she handle that?" I asked Phil. "I don't know Dan, right now you and me need to watch anime though, that'll take your mind off somethings. There's this one that I heard was really good. It's called Noragami! It has 2 seasons and a lot of people like it." (A/N: It's a great anime I'd totally recommend it). I decided to just watch it, it'll hopefully take my mind off of things for a bit.
