A "Double Date"....?

I took a break from drawing and decided to look at my texts. 

Dan: Are you available today?

I thought about it before responding. It's Tuesday so I have the day off.

Y/N: Sure! Why do you ask?

Dan: I wanted to go to the amusement park today.

Y/N: Ok. Meet there or at your place?

Dan: My place.

*Time Skip*

I walked up to Dan and Phil's apartment and walked in. "Hey guys!" I said. "Hey sis," Phil said, "I also invited Sam along." "Hey y/n!" Sam said waving. "So...it's like a double date..." I said awkwardly. "Uhh..COUGH..let's get going shall we?" Dan said rather fast. "Sure," Phil said.

Phil's POV

I called an uber and we all got in. Sam and Y/N got in the front while Dan and I stayed in back. I whispered to Dan, "I know you fancy Y/N and you want to make your first move, but keep in mind, she just got heartbroken a few days ago and it may not be the best time to tell her your feelings today. Just make sure she has fun and that she's safe." 

As Y/N's brother, I have to make sure that Y/N is cared for. Ever since our parents divorce happened at the end of the school year, in May, things went down hill a bit. Our dad started a drinking habit and our mom didn't take that lightly. They'd be yelling most nights and the slowly started to separate. I didn't know if this was normal but  didn't think it was. One night it was thunder storming. I woke up at 3:30 in the morning to the sound of sobbing. I went into Y/N's room and she was laying under the covers. "Y/N...are you alright..?" I asked as I slowly lifted the covers. She looked up at me with tear stained cheeks and messy hair. She just shook her head. I sat on her bed and wrapped my arms around her. "Phil..our parents have never been like this. Even before we found out that you were my brother. Now, I'm just scared and I feel so alone. Mark hasn't been as nice to me as I'd hoped and the worst part is the fact that I'll end up alone and a failure since I seem to do everything wrong. At least that's all that people tell me." "Y/N, I know I've only been your brother for a little bit of time but I just want you to know that I care about you and your dreams. Anyone that says otherwise isn't worth your time. Please do me a favor Y/N," I said. "Sure," she said wiping the tears from her eyes. "Get some rest, take care of yourself and hang in there." I said. I got up and tucked her back in. "One more thing. What are your dreams?" I asked. "To become a big artist in London." "Alright. If you need anything, I'm always next door and a phone call away." She nodded and smiled as I closed her door and went back to my own room.

Dan already knew that story, we've told each other everything since we've moved in a few months back. He agreed to keep Y/N entertained and safe. Finally, we arrived and started off on our "Double Date".

A/N: Hey guys! I really hope you enjoyed this chapter. I decided to give a bit of backstory that's related to the other book, Youtube High school. Anyways, this is my last day I'm on vacation. I'm gonna fly home tomorrow and start school again on Monday. I'll try my best to upload a chapter each day though to keep the story going. Anyways, I'll talk to you guys later!
