Your POV

It's been about two days since I kissed Dan on the cheek. There was just something that made me happy at the moment and I just kissed him. It was so quick I felt so awkward after. I went to Dan and Phil's apartment to see how things were. I knocked and waited. "Hey Phil." "Hey Y/N, come on in," Phil said as he opened the door. "Where's Dan?" "He went out with PJ and Chris to go shopping." "Why didn't you go with?" I asked. "I just..erm..wanted to have some alone time," He responded. I had a feeling that he was lying but just went with it. 

Phil's POV

"Alright guys have fun!" I said as Dan left to see PJ and Chris. "I'll be back in about an hour," Dan said as he left. I really hope that Dan can talk to PJ and Chris to sort out his feelings. He felt very happy when Y/N kissed Dan on the cheek the night after we got back from Cedar Point. He's hoping that it's the right move to ask her out. I was scrolling through my phone when I heard a knock. "Hey Phil." "Hey Y/N," I said inviting her in. "Where's Dan?" She asked. "He went out with PJ and Chris to go shopping." "Why didn't you go with?" Shit, I had to come up with something. "I just...erm...wanted to have some alone time," I lied. I never like being alone and I like to hang out with them, but I figured it'd be a lot better then 'well he wanted to have PJ and Chris' opinion on weather Dan should ask you out'. "Alright well I want to talk to you," she said. "Ok do you want to sit down?" I asked. "Sure." 

"So what's up?" I asked. "Well, a few days back when Dan walked me to my car, I felt really happy and out of no where kissed him on the cheek," She told me. "I didn't know how to feel, I was just so happy and Dan is such a sweet guy that is very caring and he makes me feel so happy about myself when I don't feel best." "Well that's great! Since it's been about almost a month since your bad relationship and Dan's helping you, that's all I want for you Y/N," I said. She smiled and looked really happy. I remember when Y/N was in high school last year. She would always tell me how alone she felt without any siblings since her parents traveled a lot for work and she had to do a lot for herself in high school and middle school. Ever since our parents divorce, she's seemed to be better and has found a good group of people to surround herself with. 

A/N: Hey guys! I just wanted to give an update on the story. I think I'll be updating every other day because I have some tests to study for and I have swimming too so I can't update as much. Anyways, I'll see you guys later!
