We're Moving

Hello Diary,

It's just me and my mom. It's been just us two for a while. My dad died in an accident a year ago. A shelf fell over on him, in our garage causing his death. My mom has decided that we move, to get a fresh start. We're moving to a very small town, called White Pine Bay in Oregon. There, we're moving into a huge, victorian style house. We'll be the new owners of the SeaFairer Motel, which is located right next to the house. We'll be changing the name to 'Bates Motel'. It was mother's idea. I have a stepbrother named Dylan. He's just a little older than me and he moved out a while ago. Him and my mother don't get along very well. Dylan doesn't like my mother, just because of the simple fact that she isn't his real mother. Well, I have to go help mother unpack and get ready for my first day of school tomorrow.
